Preface

Over time, as a maturing woman, I have learnt to accept myself and to grow in the light of love. In the flow state, inspiration has innocently poured out and it has helped me to understand the dark shadows of my existence and the positive times in my life. There have been times of enlightenment that have overwhelmed me, and I was able to touch on these parts of myself through writing in order to free my true self and live my mission on this Earth.

Each poem is an imprint of time, and has become like a journal entry to remind myself of the progress I have made in my life. I have chosen to include an eclectic range of my creative writing styles which best defines who I am in my growth journey.

In this collection of poems, short stories and song lyrics, I write predominantly about love, of oneself and of others. I am grateful for the person that I am because of the love and support I have in my life. With self-awareness, we are able to progress in life and feel the rawness of living in our truth. Know that you are loved and protected wherever you are, be it in human form or the spiritual realm. We are all connected and have desires which can have an incredible impact in this world. Remember who you are and why you have chosen to be on Earth in this time, space, reality.

My heart continues to flow on this Earth, and I am grateful for the blessings I have been gifted in this lifetime. Over the years, I have been creating music on my guitar and in a cappella form. The songs are raw and sung from a spiritual place within me. After writing many poems and short stories, I decided to include my song lyrics in this book. My intention to create a book including my song lyrics has been a dream of mine, and it has come to fruition. Creativity comes in many forms and I am glad to share my gifts with those who connect with my writing and music.

All of my songs are sung only once and the lyrics pour out of me in the moment. Therefore, the lyrics that are written came into the world for the first time as I played the guitar or sung in a cappella form on the day in which I recorded each song. It only took one take for each song to be born. My song lyrics have a slightly unconventional structure, which is indicative of the free flow of my music style. I have included links to some of my songs on the respective pages.

God bless the light that shines within each of us, and may each of my creative pieces inspire your soul to fly beyond your wildest dreams.

Clarity of the Soul

I’ve stripped back everything and I am ready to start again, to make a new spiritual beginning.

My heart has explored many avenues and given the gift of love to many.

Now I need to look deeper inside myself and give myself that gift wholeheartedly.

I appreciate my being, my value and existence on this Earth. Shine my light profoundly from within to remind my love where to connect with me again.

I am filled and overwhelmed with love, passion and desire, and I will continue on my journey to clarity of my soul.

Patience and time… the man who values and respects me and the earth I walk on is here.

Before You. . .

Before you came into this world, I had wished for you to be in my arms.

Before your spirit took a breath, I felt your heart beating on my chest.

Before you opened your eyes, I could see a beautiful soul.

Before you could start walking, I held your hand and we guided each other.

Before you could run towards me and hug me, I could see a bright light burning from deep within.

Before you started growing up, I felt your passion for life resonating and expanding.

Before your human existence, I fell in love with my soulmate and understood love on a cosmic level.

Beautiful Moments

Sometimes the most beautiful moments are found in the stillness of your soul and the opening of your heart. I want to give and receive so much in this world, to connect with a like-minded soul on a magical and spiritual level. The freedom of self-love and awakening to life again and again is the highest form of love, love on a cosmic level.

I found myself in this moment, in this time, space, reality. When I am with you, my love, you allow me to share this with your soul. The hunger to touch, to taste, to desire, and the hunger for your presence: these are parts of the jigsaw of life.

We are alive and embrace our physical being. Listen to the resonance in our bodies, the flow of energy coursing through every part of us. The energy we emit into this world is epic; it’s within us and ready to be shared with the world.

We want to find the one, the one to make us feel better, to feel loved, to satisfy our desires and to accompany us in life, but if we look within, we find we already have all of that and more.

The sharing, the connecting with others who understand this core of life’s force, is exhilarating and heart-warming. It allows us to feel present, to be in the moment and to see around us the awakened souls who have flown to another level of existence. Connecting, learning about others, opening up to the world, and touching another soul with your love and mind is the doorway to beauty, to wonder, to amazement, to magic, to desire, to inspiration, to curiosity, to growth of the physical and spiritual being.

We are humans being on this everchanging and growing planet. I appreciate you and I also deeply appreciate and am thankful for my presence on this Earth. I cry in great happiness and an overwhelming sensation fills my chest. I am love and have felt this since I was a child. I listened then and I will now listen again to my soul, because within this silence shine the most beautiful moments of being.

A Lesson of Time

To love being loved

Being with another in order to move on

The karmic lessons of life

That turn all the lights on

Shine brightly they do

With hesitation to open your heart

It all makes sense as I once felt it too

Now the lesson is clearer, ready for a new start

I truly know my worth in this world

I’ve known it all along

Happiness is inside me

In my eternal home I belong

Time inside is what I appreciate most

The golden truth that expands

Anything less will soon turn into a ghost

Love and friend to myself I am

Be free and find your wings once again

To find true love is heaven-sent

So I shall continue on my life path,

Where life and love will guide me

If I leave a trace of me in your heart

I also wish you a happy new start

When I’m Gone

It has been a gift to have walked on this Earth

To have tasted the sweetness of life’s pleasures

To have touched with profundity and depth the hearts who connected with me

To have breathed in the magic of life

To have witnessed a myriad of emotions which gave me light and courage to be who I was destined to be in this lifetime.

Believe in your true self, your higher self

The spirit who has guided you for centuries

The soul who shines brightly inside your human form

Have the courage to look within, the strength to be true to yourself

Be the messenger of light, of love eternal.

Death is a human construct

Our body stops functioning, but our spirit lives on into eternity

For those who truly felt a connection with me, I’m glad I had the privilege to be part of your life on Earth

My soul continues to shine a bright and warm light on the beautiful souls who may have crossed my path in this lifetime.

I saw you and I felt you

Let your heart and inner voice guide you, and always have time to be still and listen to yourself and your loved ones.

We shall all live on in the garden of many hearts.

I hope I planted my seed in your heart and that you are fortunate, as I was, to watch it grow in abundance.

She Played…

She played on her own in the garden.

Enjoyed the solitude of the day.

The leaves she picked up, and wiped off the soil,

So she could see the original beauty.

She would talk to her childhood friend,

You know, the one which cannot be seen by adults.

It was her fantasy world and she loved every moment.

She played with her few close friends in the schoolyard.

Found the days long and routine-like.

The rocks she would trip on

Wiping herself clean from the fall.

She would talk to her friends,

You know, the ones that cannot hear the real you.

It was the conventional world and she observed every moment.

She had fun with her partner at the beach.

Enjoyed the daily profound conversations together.

The sand she cupped in her hands and gently let it slide through her fingers,

So she could feel the timelessness before her.

She would talk for hours with her lover,

The kind of conversations that fill your soul.

It was a shared world filled with love and adventure.

She enjoyed her time alone in Europe,

Connecting with different people every day.

The air she breathed into her lungs was light,

So light she could feel herself flying.

She would delve deep into her soul,

The type of internal self-discovery that opens up to another universe.

It was her spiritual world and she adored every second of it.

She played with her daughter at the park,

Savouring the days of her youth.

The swing she would push, going higher and higher,

So she could see the smile and hear the laughter of her love.

They would go on every ride together,

A special kind of shared passion and light for life.

It was their hiding place from the world, filled with joy and happiness.

She had fun being on this Earth

Appreciating the magical days of her existence.

The memories that she shared in this lifetime will live on into eternity,

So she can reincarnate and revisit these souls once again.

She would talk to her childhood friend, she would talk to her friends from school,

She would talk for hours with her lover, she would delve deep into her soul,

They would go on every ride together and she would open her heart once again to strengthen her eternal soul,

You know, the dormant soul that grows, shares its enchanting gifts with others, loves deeply and rediscovers its infinite beauty.

It was her human world and she loved every moment.

Look Inside Yourself

Innocence in your heart can be felt from a distance.

A homecoming dance which feels liberating.

Having faith to continue to shine the guiding light.

Knowing that the true sweetness of love awaits.

Understanding that time is eternal.

Look inside yourself and watch your garden flourish.

Open the gateway and allow life to reveal its magic.

Awaken to the simple pleasures of life.

Tango

She began writing without intent. It was her stream of consciousness taking her places she could have never imagined. It was the eye of the storm, the biggest storm of her life.

It was her awakening to the reality, the behind the scenes, the unveiling of what is. The sounds became amplified and the colours, the colours were so deep and penetrating she was spellbound when she looked at the world. It was like coming out of a shell, a chick out of an egg, and seeing the world in a whole new light. It felt scary, and beautiful.

The whole notion of being was intoxicating. She could feel herself come to life inside as she had never experienced. It was a world of inner strength and beauty which she watched gradually flourish into her existence. Her pockets of darkness were filling up with light and she could bathe in her warmth, her love of life.

Bubbling up to the surface was her unconditional love for others, and most importantly, for herself. She was overwhelmed by her heart’s fullness and wanted to share it with the world. Making the choice of who to shine a light
