Fabulous is an inspirational autobiography about the decade leading up to an amazing personal transformation. It explores the life gifts from The Universe during those ten years and how they molded the author. Themes of friends, animals and music are woven through the journey that spanned sadness, happiness, debt, abundance, failed relationships, laughter and ultimate joy. It is meant to serve as an inspiration and reference for those looking for happiness, abundance and peace.
Everyone has been through hard times and good times. This book tries to help you see those times from a different perspective, and one that might just lead you down the road of your own transformation to a life of happiness. And since everyone’s definition of happy is different, we can all try and strive toward the happy for each of us. Because in the end, isn’t everyone’s ultimate goal in life to be happy? FOREWORD

    25415.png

One of my dear friends says that everyone has a word. A word that they use all of the time and mostly are unaware of it. I think that’s right. She told me my word is FABULOUS. And although my entire life is not necessarily what I would have called fabulous, the life I choose now is so much more than that. And the crazy thing is that your life can be just as beyond fabulous as mine! And it’s so easy.

But I am getting ahead of myself.

This book is my way of sharing the path that I took over the last decade to become so happy. To see the magic and miracles that happen every hour of every day. To invite you to see them as well and live a life that is truly rainbows and unicorns (they do exist you know).

So, when you are ready to choose:

    • happiness instead of sadness

    • love instead of hate

    • compassion instead of anger

    • self-love instead of jealousy

    • peace instead of anxiety

then call me and let’s go play among the stars.

    LOOKING BACK

    25424.png

If you have never looked back at your life from where you are today, I encourage you to do so. It’s quite an eye-opener when you are on your journey of life. As I look back over my life, mostly the past decade, I can trace my present joy back to what has happened over the years and I can clearly see how each event brought me to the person I am now. I no longer believe in living in the past or the future but it was an amazing eye-opener when I reviewed the past ten years and was able to see the gifts that The Universe so lovingly gave me.

My past decade was full of life and what life brings to all of us. I went through loss, solitude, happiness, revitalization, retirement and transformation. Through all of those gifts from The Universe, I have had my eyes opened to so many things. I want to share with you some of those fabulous things as an inspiration so that perhaps you can find your own insights, life purpose and inner peace, but also to know who you really are inside. I am completely convinced that we are all here to play, have fun, love, laugh and live each day to our highest purpose. And to help move the world to a better place, support our fellow humans and drink in the beauty of the earth in all of its splendor. The Universe is such a giving place and to connect to all of that goodness, you only need to ask. There is so much support out there for us and it is only full of love. And we can all connect to those wonderful things just by asking to make it so. Then have some gratitude for everything that life sends your way, because regardless of whether we label life’s events as good or bad, they are all opportunities to learn and grow.

    MY TRANSFORMATION TRIFECTA

    25426.png

We have all been through great loss, some more than others I suppose. My great losses started in 2012 when my marriage of 22 years suddenly came to an abrupt end. Overnight, my marriage was over. When something like that happens to you, your whole world caves in and you feel like you can’t breathe, you can’t move and you can’t see how you will get through the next minute, hour or day. At least, that’s how I felt. And I know most of you have had a similar experience whether it was your spouse, someone in your family or perhaps a friend. It’s the kind of pain that cuts you to your very core and one you feel like you will never get past. For me, getting through the pain and now reflecting on that time, it was really about the animals, the friends and the music.

The Animals. I was blessed at the time with two of the most loving and innocent souls to support and guide me through that difficult time in my life, Willa and Maggie. They were my two Bernese Mountain Dogs and they saved my life. Did you know that in the world of animal spirits, the dog spirit represents healing emotional wounds, unconditional love, loyalty and protection? Their spirit and their love are ever-present and on the worst days, they can make you laugh and play, even if just for a moment. Willa and Maggie did so much more than that. On the really bad days, they made me go outside and smell the fresh air, run and play frisbee and laugh at their crazy antics.

The Friends. True friends are the other best therapy for what ails you. And when I say true friends, they are a different sort than the friends that you meet occasionally for drinks and dinner. True friends are the ones that really listen when you need to vent, they never judge you and you always feel better when you are with them. I am blessed to have several true friends who were there to support me during those dark years. Always checking in with me and making sure I could get through one more day. Sometimes they would just pop in my office and sit for a minute and send healing, loving vibes my way. Friends are the spice and icing in your life and to have a true friend, you must first be a
