Introduction
If you want to change or improve something in your life to make it more successful, enjoyable, or fun, then the use of affirmations is one way you can do it. This book contains a collection of personal affirmations that I have used and have worked for me for more than sixty years. An affirmation is a statement of truth that we want to absorb into our consciousness and use in our life.
Affirmations can be used as statements to reinforce our positive thinking by helping re-train our subconscious mind to make a shift toward positive self-talk instead of negative self-talk. Affirmations, when repeated enough times, will reprogram, or change our beliefs.
The more often you say an affirmation the more likely you will become to believe it as fact, because you will be reprogramming your subconscious mind with repetition. So, if you want the affirmation to become part of your beliefs that work for you, make sure to repeat the affirmation several times throughout the day.
Repetition is the law of how our subconscious mind works. If we consistently repeat anything, including affirmations, we will wire it into our subconscious mind. Then these repeated affirmations will appear to us as a fact or a self-evident truth. When we repeatedly focus on our goals as already attained, our subconscious mind will see them as already created in our physical experience. This will make it seem like providence is crossing our path because more than a normal number of things will start going right for us to reach our goals. This will give us confirmation that repeating affirmations will help us to reach our goals and create what we want in our lives more easily.
Affirmations can work like magic in many different areas of our daily lives by bringing us more positive experiences. We can use affirmations to create a feeling of confidence and empowerment along with an unwavering determination to attain our goals.
When we consistently repeat affirmations, our subconscious mind will absorb their empowering statements and gradually reprogram our habitual thought patterns. As a result, our attitude towards our challenges will shift from fear, worry and self-imposed limitations, to confidence.
Repeating an affirmation helps to boost our motivation and the expectation that we will succeed. However, we still need to take personal action to follow through with making the necessary changes we have affirmed.
When affirmations are spoken, they have more power to make the changes you want in your life. Never miss the opportunity to use the spoken word to speak your affirmations. You can expand the use of the power of the word by singing the affirmations. Just add them to the melody of your favorite song.
This affirmations book is also available in audio books for those who would prefer to hear the spoken word.
If you repeat an affirmation up to 10 times in a relaxed mode, you will start to notice its effectiveness because more positive thoughts will naturally start coming into your consciousness. Listen to yourself saying the affirmation, while
