Clarity includes writing and speaking with words that aresimple, precise,descriptiveandat the level of the audience
Toneis extremely important. Why?
Forum or location of your message
Awareness of the speed you are transmitting
Match your message with the correct target members or you will lose your audience and effectiveness
Be visual, provide examples, show relationships
Tell them what you are going to tell them, then at the end, summarize what you have just told them

Forces us to evaluate what resources we may need
