About this ebook

SOME THINGS ARE TRUE, WHETHER WE BELIEVE THEM OR NOT. God's covenant with Abraham will be fulfilled. The promised seed Jesus (God in the flesh) will return to this earth in the same way which HE departed in the days of old, and He will claim HIS BRIDE. Journey with me as we view history and learn a lesson on 'the Hebrew/Jewish wedding' and how it so closely relates to our LORD's next appearance. Let's look through the eyes of Messiah, HIS culture, customs, and traditions, to get a deeper understanding of the WORD OF GOD. The foundation and roots of our Christian faith are based on Judaism. Jesus/Yeshua and HIS disciples were all Jewish/Hebrew descendants of Abram, Issac, and Jacob (Israel). We can gain a deeper revelation of salvation by studying the scripture and referencing the lifestyle and times of that era. From Genesis to Revelation "" this is a love story! "For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life" (John 3:16).

    Preface

As the many members of this two-part Testament formed into one body (the bride)—Old and New, Jew and Gentile—together, is manifested, the glory of God upon the earth; and will unlock the healing of unity in God’s creation to becoming one.

The marriage of Messiah and His Bride!

    Introduction

The foundation of our Christian faith is based on Judaism and rooted in the ‘first five’ books of Torah; the footsteps and life of our Lord and God. For a deeper, richer interpretation of scripture we should reference the culture and customs of that time and their way of life. You’ll be surprised at what you find!

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee. (Psalms 122:6)

    Chapter 1

Can I Ask You a Question?

What is this, you ask? Can I ask you a question? Do you know that God is extremely crazy in love with you? I know you’re probably thinking, Here’s another religious nut trying to influence others with their beliefs. Right? Well, you may be wrong this time. The Bible says…

Oh, sorry, just a moment. Maybe you can help me with this project. I purchased a forty-nine-inch LCD/HD flat-screen TV. I’m not sure if this is the best model, but it’s mine—I paid for it! Well, because I’m familiar with some cable connections (input/output, etc.), I tried to connect my DVD and surround sound system to the TV without reading the instruction manual for assistance. Guess what? I made a big mess of it! So back to where we were…

The Bible (human instruction manual) says in John 3:16, For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Have you ever been in love? I mean that extreme, crazy love where you’d do anything and everything for that person’s attention, affection, or just their time to show you that they love you in return? Well, guess what? God has done the same thing for you! He gave His life and died for you, and much more!

Check the instruction manual—you know, the Bible—it says in Romans 5:8, But God commendeth his love towards us, in that, while we were yet sinners (or unbelievers in God, his Commandments and Covenants), that Christ died for us. He paid for you and I with his blood! After all, God created everything on earth and in heaven, right?

Check it out for yourself in Genesis 1:1:

In the beginning God created the Heaven and the Earth. And God said, let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the Earth in the open firmament of Heaven. And God said, let the Earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so. And God said, let us make man in our image, after our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all of the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the Earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. (Genesis 1:20, 24, 26–27)

So since God made you and I, doesn’t that make us His product or production? I did look up the word product, and one definition is this: a person or thing produced by or resulting from a process. Wow, got carried away for a moment! Just really trying to connect you with the truth of our existence. We were created, my friend; we did not evolve.

God even created himself (in human form), with the hope of identifying and returning humankind back to Himself. Read it in John 1:14, And the Word (God) was made flesh (Jesus), and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, as of the only begotten (or Son) of the Father) full of grace and truth. The Creator reached down into time and touched the creation!

God came in the flesh as His son Jesus (through the virgin birth), and walked among us to display a sinless way of living, and to point us to salvation and righteousness! We too can live blameless and victorious; He left us the instruction manual for our reference, and none of us are exempt. The B.I.B.L.E. = Basic Instruction Before Leaving Earth!

God did create each of us with free will to choose how we would live this life. But what I’ve learned is this: with any purchase, when an instruction manual is provided, it is intended to be read and followed. It’s designed and purposed to be used to instruct in correct assembly and/or to include a guarantee of maximum performance of the product.

Thus, some things are true, whether we believe them or not.

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. (2 Timothy 3:16)

What is this? (To be continued).

    Chapter 2

    This Is a Chuppah

What is this, you ask? This is a chuppah—a Hebrew word meaning the bridal marriage canopy or covering. It also has legal reference in a Jewish traditional marriage as a decisive act that formerly
