Respectfully and lovingly dedicated to my deceased grandfather, Rev. John Frank Ulmer, who fought the good fight of faith and completed his kingdom assignment up until the age of 101, who shaped my spiritual foundation as a young child. I say, Thank you, Daddy.

    Lesson I

    Handcrafted by God

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. (2 Timothy 3:16–17)

(Jehovah - M'Kaddesh) The Lord Who Sanctifies Me

    Introduction:

Isn’t it ironic that as parents or adults, we inquire from children as young as four or five years of age who they want to be when they grow up? Subconsciously, children begin to formulate seeds of identity in the blueprints of their minds at such a premature age. And this is why children will choose the career of a parent, other relatives, or what they see on television because children identify themselves with what’s in their environment or surroundings.

As adults, do we do this because of fear? Fear of not knowing what lies ahead of us? Whatever the reason, it’s of no importance. What’s significant and will transform your life and make a difference in the lives of children is for everyone to know who they are in the Kingdom of the Almighty, all-knowing, loving God, Abba, Father. We must first start by seeking the kingdom of God, and all things will work together for our good; because we have already been called according to his purpose.

Start children on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it. (Prov. 22:6)

Abba – I belong to you.

    Objective:

Yet you, Lord, are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand (Isa. 64:8).

    Mission:

And He made from one man every nation to live on all the face of the earth, having determined their appointed times and the boundaries of their habitation (Acts 17:26).

    The Search is Over

The search for purpose is dominant amongst the believer as well as the unbeliever. Feelings of emptiness, unfulfillment, and thoughts of there must be more to life itself; can consume the soul aching away at heart. The scripture in the Book of Jeremiah should be the catalyst of all sermons, branded in hearts, minds, and souls from our childhood into our adult life. We must embrace the truth that we are predestined and come from a higher power in heavenly places. God speaks and reveals to Jeremiah the who, what, when, and why of mankind’s existence.

Now, let’s begin to explore our purpose and destiny from inception to the conception.

Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations (Jer. 1:4).

In this, twenty-seven worded scripture, six things take place, and the number six represents man in the kingdom of God (see more Lesson X):

    Identity

    Relationship

    Formation

    Consecration

    Purpose

    Assignment

God reveals to Jeremiah his identity and explains that there was a relationship between the two of them before He formed his embryo in the womb. God then consecrates Jeremiah and assigns him to his purpose for his life on earth, appointing him to be a prophet to the nations.

The same covenant applies to you and me. We were with the Father from the beginning. We had an intimate relationship with Him. The Lord formed us, anointed us, and gave us an assignment to be purposeful. Our purpose is to fulfill the assignment. However, we must first recognize that we are stewards for the kingdom of heaven. This is why scripture tells us to "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added to you." (Matt. 6:33)

When we seek God first, He will restore the six covenant "things" in Jeremiah chapter 1.

"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." (Rom. 8:28)

God has prepared us for our purpose. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do (Eph. 2:10).

Take a look at how King David in the Book of Psalms graciously expounds on God’s divine craftsmanship in creating mankind:

You fashioned my inner most being, you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I thank you cause I’m awesomely made, wonderfully; your works are wonders I know this very well. My bones were not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret. Intricately woven in the depths of the earth, Your eye could see me as an embryo, But in your book all my days had been shaped before any of them existed. (Ps. 139:13–16)

    Process It

Did you process that? Let’s reread the last verse again: All the days ordained for me were written in your book; before one of them came to be.

God saw the finished work in us before we were even born. Imagine that!

We Are Uniquely Crafted in the Blood

On the average, there are over one hundred thousand strands of hair on a young adult, and the hair root is below the scalp and is enclosed in a hair follicle which connects to our bloodstream. And God said, Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows (Luke 12:7).

Our DNA links us to our genetic growth, development, functioning, and reproduction of all known living organisms; it’s all in the blood.

    It’s Generational

There are three types of DNA testing hair strands:

Y-DNA—testing the male gender–linked Y-chromosome for information passed in a direct line from father to son.

Autosomal DNA or (at DNA)—tests DNA from all of the chromosomes except gender-linked X and Y. This test links cousins across gender.

Mitochondria is the direct female line from mother to child; only passed on by a daughter.

    The Twin Factor

Identical twin embryos share virtually their entire DNA. During early fetal development, however, identical twins undergo more than three hundred genetic mutations, or copy errors, on average. As human cells divide trillions of times during a lifespan, a few hundred genetic
