About this ebook

As long as we live, we will be faced with difficulties which we cannot overcome in our own strength. Most of the time, they are just the everyday circumstances. It is during these times that we desire to find the answers we search for that can only be accomplished through the encouragement and promises of the Word of God.

This book is simply about what the Bible says in 1 Thessalonians 5:11, "Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing."

Without a doubt, God's word has an answer for every human situation. Sometimes, we tend to forget because of how and what we are facing at the moment. It takes someone who has gone through difficult trials in life to encourage and pray with others in their weakest moments. It takes someone to remind them that God's promises still stand today as it was with our Ancestors. It takes someone to help propel their faith back to the place where it once was. This is what the ninety days' devotional is all about.

I encourage you to continue to read each day, and before this book has ended, I guarantee you will find a situation relevant to yours. It is my hope that the scripture verses will further help you see things differently than before. I pray this book will accomplish its purpose. You will be blessed and your spirit will be renewed.

In the meantime, be encouraged and remember, "God is our refuge and strength in times of trouble."

The Daily Encourager - Joyce P. Morris

    Beware of Satan’s Attacks

    Good morning, children of God.

This morning, the Word of God is a reminder to all of us to do our best to be vigilant like soldiers, always mindful that Satan is always on the attack.

John 10:10 says, The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Satan’s attacks come in many ways. He uses our friends, families, bosses, and even our church families if they are available to be used by him, to carry out these attacks. I learned a long time ago, from the book of Job 1:6–22. Some of these attacks could also be tests of our faith, to see how rooted and grounded we are in our faith and walk with the Lord. If we are able to go through these tests, we could become stronger and wiser in the end.

The second lesson learned is that God will actually give Satan permission to make these attacks, but with limitations, in order to bless you with double for your troubles. To show the enemy that God is in control. He gets the glory. Let’s look at Job 1:8, Then the Lord said to Satan, ‘Have you considered my servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and uptight man, one who fears God and shuns evil?’ (This was permission given.)

Today, I encourage you to ask the Lord to put his edge of protection around you and your household, so that when the fiery darts start to fly, they will not reach their target. I encourage you to pray for those whom the enemy is using, so that they will be aware of the schemes of the enemy.

    Stay blessed and alert.

    God bless you.

    Let’s Be Careful When Judging

    Good Morning, Children.

I thank God for this Word that I will be sharing with you today.

For this very reason, Christ died and returned to life so that he might be the Lord of both the dead and the living. You, then, why do you judge your brother? Or why do you look down on your brother? For we will all stand before God’s judgement seat. It is written: As surely as I live, says the Lord, every knee will bow before me; every tongue will confess to God. So then, each of us will give an account of himself of God. (Romans 14:9–12)

While the body of Christ must be uncompromising in its stand against activities that are expressly forbidden by scripture, neither should we create additional rules and regulations and give them equal standing with God’s law. Many times, some of us Christians base our moral judgments on opinions, personal dislikes, or cultural biases rather than on the Word of God. If we do this, we show unbelievers that our belief is weak, and we are not as powerful as we say we are or should be as children of God.

So let’s remember, when we stand before the Lord’s Court of Justice, we won’t be worried about what our Christian brothers or Sister have done according to 2 Corinthians 5:10, which says, For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive what is due him for the things done in the body, whether good or bad.

Today, let’s make an effort to practice God’s Word, doing what’s right. Have a blessed day.

The Importance of Memorizing God’s Word

    Good morning, children of God.

Let’s thank God for His daily Words, for it is our guide to learn more about Him.

This morning, Word is from James 4:7, which says, Therefore submit to God, resist the devil and he will flee from you.

As Christians, it is imperative for us to memorize passages in the Bible, because we need to have them on our lips when most needed.

The mistakes some of us often make, is believing that we can claim part of God’s Word, to use as a way for connecting it to our situation, leaving out the important parts. This scripture today, for instance, is the perfect example. This is the truth of the scripture, Submitting to God first, making God our only source first, and relying on His strength first, then we will be able to resist the devil. Apart from that, the devil will not flee from us, he will have a field day with us, taking us back from the place we were before. Some of us often quote the latter part of the scripture Resist the devil and he will flee from you only, but the reality is, we must depend on God and His Word to be able to achieve this.

As of today, let’s truly get the full understanding of God’s principles in order to make His promises, through His Word, works for us. After this, 1 Peter 5:10–11 says it all: But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that you have suffered a while, make you perfect, establish, strengthen, settle you. To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

Believers, I pray that you will have a very peaceful day.

    God is Purifying Your Faith

    Good morning, children of God.

Blessed is the name of the Lord, He has given us life for a new day. Sometimes as Christians, when we are going through trials, some may ask, Why? Some may feel they are being deserted, thinking that God is not as dependable as He seems. The truth according to Numbers 23:19 is that God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent."

Maybe this could be a way of purifying your faith. God is always in control. Living in this evil world, a world that comes with sufferings and distresses, nevertheless, nothing escapes His sight. There are things we will never quite understand, like why He allows some Christians to be martyrs for their faith, and why He allows others to survive persecution. Rather than asking, why me? In your trials, think about the elevation of your faith, when He takes you through.

The Word of God says in Psalm 23:4, "Even though I walk in the valley of the shadow
