    Be Grateful in Prayer

Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

    ––––––––

When we pray many of us pray thanking the Heavenly Father for all the blessings He has given to us. And some people frequently pray asking God for material things, which is fine also. But being thankful for what we already have is different, because God enjoys giving more to the person that is grateful for the blessings they currently possess.

Once we practice praying to God with the attitude of gratitude, we can sometimes include the things that we want as well. He has great pleasure in giving his children the desires of their heart.

    Happy Days

This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 188:24

Each day we can choose to allow our day to be a blessing for us, or not. When God made the sun to shine, He made it to help for His children to have a great day. Sunshine can actually assist with decreasing depression, not just because the sun illuminates over darkness, but also because 15 minutes of vitamin D from sunlight can work as a daily dose for reducing sad moods.

When we choose to be happy each day, we will have to avoid the actions of individuals that are negative. Everyone is not going to see each day as a good day, when they wake up in the mornings. Many people like to keep company with individuals that are happy for no reason, children of the Heavenly Father are just happy for simple reasons like waking up in the morning with good health.

    Watch the Company You Keep

Do not be deceived: Evil company corrupts good habits. Awake to righteousness, and do not sin; for some do not have the knowledge of God. I speak this to your shame.

    1 Corinthians 15:33

Righteous people think they can continue to keep company with people that are unrighteous. The difference is that righteous people practice righteousness most of the time, and unrighteous people don't.

Have you ever tried to keep company with individuals that do negative things, and you were a little tempted to try it also? There's a few righteous people that won't allow negative people to influence their good ways. Jesus was one person that was not lead by the negative influences of those around Him, He also resisted the devil by speaking what the Bible says about each tough situation.

Hold on to Courage and Strength

"Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you." Deuteronomy 31:6

When we live life without fears we're able to achieve more goals and dreams. We can visualize a prosperous future as if we're already there; this is seeing in faith, and waiting for our flesh to catch-up with our faith. And with a fearless mind-set, the vision can be accomplish sooner. Many mornings before I get out of bed, I begin to do a visualization exercise, to help renew my situations that are in the process of getting better and better each day. First, we have to believe circumstances will get better, and then we have to visualize them getting better, and finally act on it, to gradually make it better day by day.

Have you ever known anyone that won't follow their goals and dreams because of fear? Usually fear are excuses of why you can't follow through with goals or dreams. To exercise strength you may have to rid your thoughts of why you can't achieve something, and remember that you're not doing it along when God is with you in everything that you do. Just ask God in prayer to be with you and know that He is always with you, even when you've done wrong.

    Love is the Greatest

And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love. 1 Corinthians 13:13

Every person in life needs love, it is actually an action. We show love by doing things for other individuals. Since everyone needs love, there should be more people showing acts of love to people that aren't just your family members. Although we should give love to our family members on a daily basis, out-siders might need actions of love as well.

Love does come back around to you when you're issuing it to others, it may not come back to you by those same exact individuals, but love comes back full circle. Just as with gravity, what goes up must come back down. That's the law of attraction here on Earth; gravity also works with our positive and negative actions. And love is one action that many individuals don't mind giving out to as many people as possible, by showing it with actions. God is love and we demonstrate to others the gift of love as children of God.
