It is the little pieces in your daily walk that will lead to life-changing and great accomplishments. Sharing is giving. My father would share his favorite candy bar, almond joy bar, with me. That is what we need to do with God. We need to share bits and pieces with one another. This book will be a life-changing tool that you can apply in your daily living.

Life Changing Tidbits - Tammy Stocker

Give an Unwrapped Gift of Love

Give an unwrapped gift of love. Did you know that every time your heart beats, every time you take a breath, God is saying "I love you?" In this Christmas season, show someone some love, kindness; lend a helping hand; share a kind word or just a friendly smile. Christmas is not about the tree, the presents, nor old Saint Nick, but what Jesus did for us on Calvary. Jesus expressed His love for us by dying on the cross. God created you in His likeness and His image (Genesis 1:27). God’s love is constant and unchanging. As you reflect on God’s love, I encourage you to love one another and share God’s love not only in this Christmas season, but in all seasons to come. Be Confident in the Lord as He has a great work in you.

    No Matter What—Be Encouraged

Have you made some not-so-good decisions, hung out with the wrong crowds, experienced disappointments and/or heartaches? Did you know that there is nothing too hard for our God (Genesis 18:4)? Did you know if you stumble or fall, that you can get back up? Be encouraged as it states in Proverbs 24:16, A righteous man falleth seven times and riseth up. Don’t get stuck in a situation or let it overwhelm you. You deserve so much more. Be like Job, and as you are going through, keep your integrity and trust in God. Don’t give up or give in. Hold on to God’s unchanging word. God did it for Job, and He will do it for you. (Read Job.) Be encouraged and stay faithful to God and keep walking with God (Luke 8:11, John 1:1). Be Confident in the Lord as He has a great work in you.

    Have You Opened Your Gift(s)?

God has given you a gift(s); have you unwrapped your gift and put it to use? I remember when I was a little girl, my grandmother had given me a gift. I was so excited to receive my gift, I tore off the wrapping paper and almost the box too. Inside the box was a beautiful gold watch. My grandmother was smiling from ear to ear as I was putting the watch on my wrist with such enthusiasm. Then, I was asking everyone who was around me to ask me the time. They chuckled and laughed, but they enlightened me and asked me the time. This is how you should be with the gift(s) God has given you. You should be excited about your gift and use it to the glory of God as directed by the Holy Spirit. Whatever the gift(s) God has given you, treasure it and use it to glorify and edify the saints according to His Word. God wants you to know the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe (Ephesians 1:19), so He can strengthen you with power through His spirit in your inner being (Ephesians 3:16). Depend on God’s power and not your own. Don’t let His gifts sit unopened. Be Confident in the Lord as He has a great work in you.

    Are You in A Drought?

Are you in a situation and need some clarity? First, we need to realize that God is not just a part of our lives, but He is our life or at least should be, and you need to remember that faith is a process of trusting God day by day He will provide for you. There is a story about the widow and how she received a miracle from God by being obedient. Elijah said to the widow to go and do what she had planned but to make him a little cake first before making one for herself and her son. He assured her that the Lord had said the bin of flour wouldn’t waste away and the bottle of oil wouldn’t dry up until He sent the rain (1 Kings 17:8–16). What if Elijah did not say what the Lord stated to the widow? She would have run out of food. But she was obedient and had food for many days. We don’t emphasize enough the importance of speaking the promises of God. We have to believe the Word, speak the Word, and act on the Word, to have what the Word said we can have. Since the widow did not say no and made cake, the meal barrier never went empty because of her obedience. God rewards obedience. You need to be a believer in speaking the Word. Your tongue is the most powerful weapon and force of your life (James 3:2–11). So what’s going to bring you through your personal drought situation? The Word of God that you speak in faith will bring you through. Be Confident in the Lord as He has a great work in you.

    Stay Focused!

Someone once shared a story with me that stuck for years, so now I will share it with you. They said close your eyes and focus on Jesus standing on the water with His arms wide open, ready to receive you. You are walking toward Him keeping your eyes on Him, you don’t look down nor to the left or right, because if you do, you will lose sight of Him and start to sink. What He wants is for you to trust, believe, and have total faith in Him. We need to practice daily in our Christian walk, staying focused and standing firm on God’s Word. He will not fail. Did you know that you are most effective for the kingdom when you keep your eyes focused on Him? The Lord desires and deserves all of you. Remember there is no substitute for prayer and studying God’s Word. This is the foundation for your life (Matthew 7:24–27). Do not underestimate the significance of being obedient in matters that seem to be of little importance in the moment (Luke 16:10). Remember we should do all things with eternity in view, not just for our sake but for the sake of all those we can influence (1 Corinthians 9:19–23). Be Confident in the Lord as He has a great work in you.

    Letting Go of Strongholds

Letting go of strongholds. First, what is the definition of stronghold? A stronghold is any argument or pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God. More plainly, a stronghold, metaphorically speaking, is anything that wars in the Christian’s life such as sin, pride, addictions, lust, lack of faith, man-centered, self-confidence, just to name a few. Now that you know the definition of stronghold, how do we demolish them? I’m glad you asked.

First you have to determine essence of stronghold as it rest your mind. We have to put on
