It is surprising how simple the formula for success is when you boil it down to the basics. The problem is just that—focus. Knowing the role of a man in a relationship should be simple. However, today’s society has caused confusion in the lives and minds of both men and women, making it far more difficult than the original design meant for it to be.

Men and women have to know the objective of the relationship, think through the details of what it will take to make their relationship successful, then agree upon a plan of action, follow the plan, and lastly, follow through with the plan. As simple as this sounds, most never delve below the surface to even talk about the plan, not to mention the performing and following through.

Roger Haley is very experienced, educated, and illuminated with those elements required to champion successful relationships. I have watched and marveled at Roger’s candor and technique as he teaches ministers and counsels couples through the rigors of solidifying their relationships while fortifying them to withstand any of today’s challenges and temptations.

Male readers of this book will be mentally and spiritually provoked to step into their role as the champ to their wives, fiancées, and girlfriends, while female readers will be excited and relieved to watch their champ emerge into that securing protector and provider God intended them to be.

My friend Roger Haley wrote this book, How to Be Your Wife’s Champ, to provide men with the insight necessary to have a great relationship with their spouse. Roger explains how to utilize basic principles in your relationship, like communication, understanding, affection, motivation, and recognizing your wife’s value.

All these principles are essential ingredients necessary to have a thriving, successful marriage, especially when problems arise in the relationship. The book explains how in a time of crisis the safest and most reliable resource for help is found in the Word of God.

Roger’s explanation of our wives being a prime rib is one of the most delicious and essential principles in the book. If we look at the Bible, in the book of Genesis 2:21–24, when God takes a man and
