About this ebook
Author Art Cooper takes on a topic that has been debated since the beginning of manrelationships. Cooper takes a fresh look at the divorce and its effects on the family, trying to eliminate the items that cause stress and continuing problems even after the final divorce decree is issued. He offers a fresh look at our motivations and suggests ways to change and to avoid some of the pitfalls.
But those who trust in the Lord for help will find their strength renewed. They will rise on wings like eagles; they will run and not get weary; they will walk and not grow weak (Isaiah 40:31 GNT).

Art Cooper was a patrol officer and a detective for twenty-five years in New Jersey. As part of his patrol duties, he answered domestic violence calls that involved assaults and even homicide. When he moved to St. Augustine, Florida, he and his wife, Linda, took over a church divorce recovery group. Together they taught more than five hundred classes and spent numerous hours over thirteen years assisting adults and children within their group. They started the Oasis Family Crisis Center as a nonprofit. The center assisted single parent families with clothing and the tools to go to work, vehicles to go to school, food, rent, utilities, and almost anything needed to raise a family as a single parent. They stopped several years ago in order to attend to their elderly parents. He enjoys traveling, photography, kayaking with friends, and outdoor activities.
