Iam writing to prepare you for the second coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I am not a religious authority. I have not attended seminary. Everything I know about the truth comes from going to church, singing in church, reading the Bible, and what our Father, and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ has revealed to me, through the Holy Spirit. I am like you, ordinary. I pray that the Holy Spirit guide these words, so that I tell the truth about Jesus and Lucifer, also known as Satan and the devil, so that you decide for yourself who you should follow. It is my hope that this book prepares you for the rapture of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I pray that you are in it.

The Truth

What is truth (asked Pilate)? Jesus had said, For this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Everyone that is of the truth heareth my voice (John 18:37–38, KJV).

Truth is what actually happened, the words that were actually said, what was actually done, and the reasons behind it—intent. Truth arrived in the beginning when the foundations of the universe were laid by God, his truth from heaven, and his laws. Every law can be proven. It is what happened. Truth happened during the creation of the universe, because the Father and the Son knew Lucifer would lie to us on earth. Truth is a law of the universe. We were sent to find our way back to truth. Jesus Christ is truth. This is our journey. I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me (John 14:6–7, KJV). That is the truth!

Dictionary definitions say, the quality or state of being true. The quality of being in accordance with experience, facts, or reality; conformity with fact, reality: actual existence. Agreement with a standard, rule, etc.; correctness, accuracy. That which is true; a statement, etc. which accords with fact or reality. An established or verified fact, principle, etc. veracious, conformity with the facts.

When Pilate said to Jesus, Then you are a King? Jesus answered, You say I am a King. For this I was born and for this I came into the world, to testify to the truth. Everyone who belongs to the truth listens to my voice. Pilate said to him, What is truth? Pilate was looking at truth, and asking Jesus. Pilate did not understand truth, or Jesus. He didn’t understand because he was caught between two worlds: the earthly world and the divine. Pilate was only familiar with the earthly world and earthly kings. He could not recognize the heavenly King that stood before him, looking like an ordinary man, being confronted by ordinary men, in an ordinary world. Truth was right in front of him, but he didn’t recognize it.

Do we look truth in the face and refuse to recognize it? Why? Is it because we don’t really want to know the truth, because truth will ask us to change once we realize we are in error? If we thought we knew the truth, and we found out we were lied to, we would feel offended, tricked, hurt, deceived, injured, misled, and bitter. The show on television that determines the paternity of children shows the reaction to the truth. Are you or are you not the father? After the father finds out the results of a paternity test, he is either elated that he is not the father or he accepts fatherhood and becomes a part of the child’s life. Occasionally, the dad, even after knowing the truth, refuses to be in the child’s life. Occasionally, the dad, knowing he is not the father, decides to remain in the child’s life. Regardless to what his decision is, the truth declares he is or is not the dad. Now that truth is revealed, it asks what kind of dad he will be, because truth demands a reaction. Now that we know the truth, what will we do? The reaction it demands is change. Truth is here to change your mind. Truth changes your mind as it is revealed.

The truth is based upon something that preceded it. The question I have is, was truth on earth before man? Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. Wouldn’t you know it, he was here at the creation. Truth was moving along way before man was created. Jesus established the truth; he and our creator established the laws. The Bible says, In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God (John 1:1, KJV).

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth (John 1:14, KJV). Jesus will have the final word! These are words to live by; he is true to his word, the good word. Over two thousand years later, we still understand the power of the spoken word. We understand that he is the word of truth. Once man was created and fell into sin, knowing the difference between good and evil, the possibility of choosing not to tell the truth was there. The choice to lie about an event, occurrence, or conversation became a choice. The situation doesn’t matter. The possibility of not telling the truth, entered. And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free (John 8:32, KJV). We know the difference between good and evil. We are choosing, but the soul knows the truth, and it is impossible for your soul to lie before God.

Then Jesus went on further to say, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin (John 8:34, KJV). He goes on to say that we actually serve sin willingly, knowingly. And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth forever (John 8:35, KJV). There is a battle over you, a battle over your soul. There is a battle inside of you. If you have accepted Jesus as your Savior, you are preparing to win the battle. Begin your work toward living a better life for yourself. If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed (John 8:36, KJV).

As Jesus was telling them who he was, telling them the truth, speaking to the religious leaders of that time, he asked, Why do you not understand my speech? Even because you cannot hear my word. Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it (John 8:43–44, KJV). Well, that is very clear. Some people don’t want to hear the truth. The devil, Lucifer, Satan, is the father of that which was said, when it was not what actually happened. If I lie, there is some reason why I don’t want you to know the truth. I have to cover it up, maneuver, scheme, and finagle my way through, so I don’t have to receive the consequences of my actions, and learn from my mistakes. I have to constantly keep lying so that things remain the way I want them to be. I have become a servant of sin.

It all started, in heaven. Yes, Lucifer spread lies in heaven. He convinced heavenly beings there to believe his lies, and he is convincing us here. He uses several tactics to do it. Sometimes, it’s not difficult because we don’t want to hear the truth. We want to do it our way and make it our new reality, even if it is not real and will destroy us. When the religious leaders said to Jesus, Thy record is not true (John 8:13, KJV), Jesus responds, Though I bear record of myself, yet my record is true (John 8:14, KJV). They didn’t want to hear it because truth will make you change. It meant some of them would no longer be revered. They would no longer be authentic, if they agreed with the truth. Since they didn’t want to agree with truth, they sought to kill him rather than change. Jesus said, But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham (John 8:40, KJV). He informed them, Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad (John 8:56, KJV). Before Abraham was, I am (John 8:56, KJV). Maybe they were a lot like us. They didn’t want to hear the truth. They didn’t want him to be who he was, even if it was the truth. In other words, if he didn’t look the way they wanted him to look, and say what they wanted him to say, he couldn’t possibly be the person they were expecting.

They created a lie to tell people, so that they would look at Jesus and believe the lie told of him, defamation of character. If Jesus came today, would you be willing to accept the truth? Are we different from them? Do we talk about people behind their backs and laugh? Do we make fun of people and humiliate them? Do we get together in groups to humiliate a certain person, and gang up on them? It doesn’t take much education to ridicule people. Do we enjoy watching people being humiliated or physically harmed in our internet arena? This is a cruel part of our existence we will not be proud of when we reach the end of life. How many of us will stand up for the truth, even if the lie is thousands of years old? Stand, even when your best friend wants you to lie. Even if the lie is for something you always wanted. How many of us will tell the lie, spread it, and give it fuel? How many of us want to hear the truth?

Do you want to hear? Are you ready? We make ourselves participants. We become convinced by hidden desires or goals, to give in to lies when there is something we will gain from it. We allow ourselves to be misled. Jesus is the truth!

Why is the truth important? Truth resonates itself among those that resonate from it. Everyone that is of the truth heareth my voice (John 18:37). We are all transmitters and receivers, interchangeably one or the other. At home, our electronic devices that emit sound have transmitters and receivers in different places or in different compartments for sound. We are made the same way. We either transmit through the mouth or receive through the ears. We cannot transmit sound and receive sound successfully at the same time. We are, moment by moment, either one or the other. When truth is transmitted, those of the truth hear it. We receive the truth. We are the receivers. Jesus is the transmitter of the truth. Truth is important because it is what we base all future decisions upon. Future decisions are based upon past information, and it gives new direction as truth unfolds. The more truth you have about something, the farther you can go with it. Truth is solid, it’s something you can build upon, it is something you stand on, it is whole and enduring like these idioms: Truth be known, ain’t that the truth, truth is stranger than fiction, the gospel truth, moment of truth, to tell the truth, the honest truth, I work better with the truth, truth be told, God’s honest truth, in truth, the naked truth, the moment of truth. Truth is important because it is a building block. Truth prepares you for the next thing.

Truth is what was said before the lie. Truth builds upon itself. Truth cannot build upon a lie, only itself. A lie can’t build upon a lie; it entangles. If a lie tries to attach itself to the truth, truth simply goes where it is wanted and waits. The truth gently says to the lie, That’s not true. A lie is separate from the truth, apart from it. If someone tells part of the truth in a statement, it’s still a lie, because of the part that is a lie. It has to be the whole truth to be true. A lie may cover the truth, but truth will emerge eventually, after the lie is chiseled away, and the naked truth is revealed, growth can begin. That which Lucifer didn’t want you to know, you now know it.

A lie can be a lie so prolific nearly everyone believes it. Yes, we believe lies and we know they are lies, and other times we believe lies, and we don’t know they are lies. Sometimes, in our complacency, we may not believe it, but we go along with it simply because we don’t want to be bothered, and that’s even more dangerous than the lie itself. We must stand up against lies in life. The lies that we know are lies and the lies that we think are true. The lies we
