About this ebook

Christ is predominantly God's Lamb. As "the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world" (Rev. 13:8), He is the central point of God's plan from before God even began creating, because Christ first had to be God's Lamb to be Lord. Lambship and Lordship go together hand in hand. You can't separate Lambship from Lordship. You can't have Lordship without Lambship. People talk about Jesus being Lord, but there aren't many crying out for Him to be the Lamb. Jesus is first the Lamb; then He is Lord. He has to be Lamb before He can be Lord. Before the foundation of the world, He was the Lamb, because there has to be death before there can be life.Praise God for His Lamb; for without the Lamb, we have no life.

Let’s start this study of Lambship by reading the following Scriptures:

He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. (Isa. 53:7)

The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. (John 1:29)

Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing. (Rev. 5:12)

And many of the people believed on him, and said, When Christ cometh, will he do more miracles than these which this man hath done? (John 7:31)

There is no message in the Word of God more precious to me than the message of Lambship. I figure Lambship is the heartbeat of God. It is God’s love in the greatest demonstration through a natural representation that He has ever given.

The closer you get to God, the more you see Jesus as a lamb. The further you are away from God, the more Jesus must be the answer to your need. The closer you get to the Father, the more you see Jesus is the answer to the Father’s need.

Before the world ever started, Jesus was the Lamb. First Peter 1:19-20 says Christ as a Lamb was slain before the foundation of the world. From Revelation chapters 4 to 22, Jesus is seen primarily as the Lamb. The book of Revelation honors Christ as the Lamb 27 times. It all relates to the Lamb. There is the blood of the Lamb, the life of the Lamb, the marriage of the Lamb,
