About this ebook

The author is a God-ordained writer of New Testament truths. His passion is to reveal how the devil drags people into hell through his wicked schemes of lies and deception. He is part of the fivefold ministry found in Ephesians 4:11. He is a member of Eagle Rock Church in Pickerington, Ohio for over twenty years. He is a Spirit-filled, born-again believer who desires to see the church restored to holiness and purity. He has been serving the Lord for over forty years.

He is available to be a guest speaker. He has served as pastor, Bible teacher, deliverance and healing, prison ministry, and nursing home. His latest assignment is to write a series of truths that expose the tactics of the devil that has infected the modern church. This book (Resurgence of the Remnant) puts emphasis on how God is bringing new life to the church that has fallen asleep. It is the great awakening. This book is a must read.

    About the Author

    Foreword

In the past few years, it seems that God has sovereignty renewed the subject of awakening and revival. There is a there is a call for God's people to arise out of passive Christianity and rise up and take our place in the Lord's army.

The crisis in the world presents a challenge to the church to present heaven's solutions. Christians must commit to arise as kingdom ambassadors, both privately and publicly.

This book by Tom Sarge is an illumination into what God is doing in this season by the Holy Spirit with the Resurgence of the Remnant. In the last days

This Resurgence of the Remnant is being fully surrendered to and empowered by the Holy Spirit. This remnant stands for righteousness and clings to the integrity and immutability of the word of God. It rejects the compromise and carnality of a post Christian culture.

It stands as a clear prophetic voice e as the voice of one crying out: Prepare ye the way of the Lord.

Tom Sarge Insightly illustrates the change and growth necessary for the remnant that God is raising. The urgency of the hour calls for a special sensitivity, sacrifice and commitment to the now move of God.

Discerning the strategies and snares of the enemy is a must, as well as following the leadership of the Holy Spirit.

In this book there is a clarion call to pay the price and to be poured out like a drink offering for the purposes of God.

RESURGENCE of the REMNANT is both a challenging and an inspiring book. Tom has allowed himself to be a herald and a prophetic voice in our times. I highly recommend Resurgence of the Remnant to anyone who wants to be part of what God is doing now in preparation to what God will do next.

    Introduction

This book is intended to make a person aware of what the Lord is intending to do with His church. They have fallen asleep, and they must be revived. Each chapter deals with factors that have caused the church to become powerless. The Lord is arousing the church out of lethargy and sleepiness. They are being delivered out of their shallow graves. The dust is coming off them by the fresh wind of the Holy Ghost. We are about to see the greatest move of God's glory.

Resurrection season is upon us. The resurgence of the remnant is all about the church coming alive with power and authority. The church, both individually and corporately, is being called to rise out of the dirt and ashes of desertion and disloyalty. Be willing to allow the Holy Spirit to refresh you and cause you to be endued with power. You are about to get soaked with the latter rain. You are called to be light in darkness. The end-time revival is even at your doorsteps!

Get ready to walk in resurrection power and a fresh anointing. We are being called to work with the Holy Ghost to push back the gates of hell.

Those who have died on the vine are about to receive new life.

    Chapter 1

    Still Sleeping?

Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in the dust, for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead (Isaiah 26:19).

God is breathing new life upon His church. They are coming out of their graves. They are shaking the dust off. They are going to rise with rejoicing, full of praise and having a thankful heart.

If you will observe this scripture, you will see that the Lord has intention of stirring up the body of Christ.

Many have laid down on the job and have been unproductive. Being asleep is not a physical thing but a lack of spiritual drive.

Unproductivity comes from a lack of discipline. The church has fallen asleep and has become powerless and anemic. The fight has left them; many have become slaves to the devil. If we do not fight the good fight of faith, the devil wins, and we lose. If we hold fast our profession of faith, we win with God's help. Arise church of the living God and be about the Father's business.

The devil proceeds to cause the kingdom of darkness to profit by our laying down on the job.

Give no place to the devil (Ephesians 4:27).

Many have not responded to the call of the Lord for servanthood. They have given place to the devil and have become unfruitful and lacking commitment. Passion and drive have deteriorated into a loss of vision.

Where there is no vision, the people perish, but he that keeps the law, happy is he (Proverbs 29:18).

Those who have no vision are dry and dormant and going nowhere.

I have talked about the fight, and this is what God expects of us: And from the days of John the Baptist until the now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force (Matthew 11:12).

Notice that Jesus was speaking of now (our present age).

Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou are also called, and have professed a good profession before many witnesses (1 Timothy 6:12).

We will not achieve anything for the kingdom of God unless we know who we are in Christ. Where is the warrior spirit and the militant mindset?

Could it be that maybe you are just lazy and indifferent? No drive and passion, and you call yourself a Christian?

We are in resurrection season where the Lord is breathing freshness upon His church. He intends for us to become a glorious church, without spot or wrinkle:

And I say unto thee, thou are Peter and upon this rock I will build My church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. (Matthew 16:18)

Be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about seeking whom he may devour. (1 Peter 5:8)

The devil is crafty and cunning and tries his best to lure God's people into lethargy.

Lethargy is sluggish, inactivity, lifelessness, dullness, no drive, passive, slothful, lazy, stagnation, apathy, and more.

I want to point out a few of these behavior problems to show what causes unfruitfulness. All these things will make you unproductive and unfruitful.

Being stagnant compares to a pool of
