Foreword
So many people are living in fear and need healing in their thinking so they can be healed in their mind, body, and spirit. They can have happy lives through God’s Promises of His Word Christ Jesus the Hope of Glory!
There is a shift going on because of end times. God is allowing things to be shaken up with chaos to bring His people closer to Jesus where we find peace, love, joy, and provision from our Father, God.
People are suffering for way too long because they don’t know how to begin the transformation process from darkness to light by using God’s Word, worship, and prayer. By doing this, they can have the dreams God has placed in their hearts come to pass.
Satan has overplayed his game way too long, and for those who are willing to trust God, they can have their lives transformed from pain to joy by using the Word of God as a key to unlock their heart aches!
This shift from darkness to light or negativity to positivity is part of why Jesus suffered for us to give us His love, which is life exceedingly more abundant. When we strengthen our inner man (thoughts) daily by using God’s keys of Jesus’ Word and worship and stay diligent and guard our hearts then we can have the victory!
Chapter 1
Introduction
I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven. Whatever you imprison, God will imprison. And whatever you set free, God will set free.
—Matthew 16:19, GW
Christians are not recognizing when they’re being attacked by the enemy Satan—the oppressor—so we can cast him and his army down. We need to learn to switch or shift the negative thoughts in our soul to God’s thoughts and have the mind of Christ Jesus. As well as have the courage to withstand the enemy’s attacks with our faces set like flint. Just like Jesus!
We need to recognize that in our everyday life, the enemy throws darts at our minds, and we have to switch those thoughts quickly. Otherwise, we dwell on them too long, and they grow like seeds into trees of anything negative, such as sickness, lack, addictions, oppression, separation, and division from our loved ones and God.
All Satan has to do is plant a seed of doubt or any negative thought in our heads, then he can walk away (not even there anymore), knowing we will stress over them. These seeds will grow or manifest into destructions.
Recognize that Satan does it every day through family members, friends, and neighbors by influencing their minds to blame, shame, accuse, criticize, complain, curse, reject, or hurt each other.
Some examples of how he whispers in our souls to hurt, accuse, or abuse someone is by causing them to think they are in this battle (any situation) alone. So, your family member might say, You were not there to help me.
When really, God says that He will never leave us or forsake us. However, people are not leaning on God, who is our Redeemer. If you’re not relying on God to be an ever-ready help in these situations, then Satan has already caused a separation from you and God. We are to use God’s Word to switch wrong thoughts and feelings in our soul (mind, will, and emotion) to what His Word says. He sent His Word, and He healed us. This also means God helps in the situation when we think, speak, and believe in faith in His Word.
We need to recognize these thoughts and feelings and change them before they grow out of control like weeds in a garden. Our minds and souls are our garden. We have to guard them and not let this negative stuff stay and manifest into self-pity, sickness, and lack of any kind. By dwelling on them they grow and manifest into even more negative thoughts or situations.
Oppression is a demonic attack on your emotions, thoughts, and feelings. No doctor can fix a spiritual problem.
In the Bible, they fought physically, and now we’re fighting those spirits. (We don’t fight flesh and blood, we fight principalities, powers in darkness, and spirits in high places. See Ephesians 6:12.) These spirits are very strong and heavy. It’s like you reach for help and nobody can help you, nobody understands the oppression and how it causes you to barely be able to get out of bed sometimes. It makes you think you’re losing your mind, and sometimes we do, but then God restores it back to us. It’s hard to explain and it’s too much to handle, but when you get relief, you’re so thankful. You beg God please don’t let it come back, please in Jesus’ name let it be finished. This must be similar to how Jesus felt when He was being tempted in the garden by the enemy and when He was sweating drops of blood. Of course, Jesus must have had it so much worse than we do, but when we fight it with Him, His Word, and His keys in worship, then we become more than overcomers and conquerors.
Jesus Christ said it best when He was being tested and tempted by Satan in the garden. Satan was trying to get Jesus to worship him just one time by just doing one little thing Satan wanted. Satan told Jesus, who was fasting, praying, and hungering, to physically and spiritually turn stone to bread. Jesus is the bread that was broken for us so we can be saved and healed. Especially from the enemy trying to trick us into worshiping him with various temptations that most of the time we can’t even see because Satan keeps our eyes blind and our ears deaf with all this negative junk. When we are distracted, stressed, sick, and lacking we cannot hear the voice of God telling us how to get out of the negative situation.
This is what Jesus said to rebuke Satan when Satan was misquoting scripture and lying, which causes oppression or these evil attacks on our minds, emotions, and feelings!
But Jesus told him, No! The Scriptures say, ‘People do not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’
—Matthew 4:4, NLT
Some other examples to recognize when the enemy is influencing your soul with an attack is when anyone (your neighbor, friend, church member, boss, co-worker) says something rude to criticize and provoke you. Often someone will say something, and Satan, who is the twisting serpent, will twist what that person meant in your mind like a false imagination. Satan is a master at this, and it happens in a lot of conversations to try to steal, kill, and destroy our lives.
The enemy also convinces us that we are sick or afraid, knowing that if we dwell on it too long, it will grow and develop into disease and infirmities. These are weaknesses of the soul and body. Oppression is a wrong thought from the enemy that torments the soul, and left unchanged, it grows into sickness, lack, etc.
When we change all these negative thoughts, feelings, actions, behaviors, or any negative things quickly and learn to replace it with good thoughts and actions, then we develop good habits. These good habits will begin to happen automatically as we learn these new keys to overcome each time the enemy throws another dart. We have to practice it daily and develop these new skills into healthy habits—God’s Ways of behaving and thinking (the mind of Christ from 1 Corinthians 2:16). Therefore, we can have victory and the Promises that God has put in our hearts. If you are being distracted by all this bad stuff, you can’t hear God’s voice telling you what you need to do to get the promises He has placed in your heart.
When the Bible repeats itself, it is because God is trying to get us to see, hear, and remember something important for our lives.
As you read and learn to recognize the attacks (which can be everyday bad stuff), as well as how to switch each wrong thought for a good one with the different keys, you will notice I repeat myself in this book like music. It is so you can remember and do it every time consistently, so you don’t drop or lose what God has given you—like your health and prosperity in all aspects.
And if you have already lost some of your health and prosperity
