Lord of the Sabbath - Novice McDaniel

    Holcomb.

    Preface

When the Lord placed the burden on my heart as it pertains to the Sabbath’s rest in the lives of His servants, He revealed to me that this will be a word of encouragement, edification, exhortation, and comfort. It will be a time of rededication, repentance, self-examination, and refreshing in the presence of the Lord for the servants of the Lord. One important lesson that I have learned in my walk with God is that there is always room for mid-term corrections. There is always room for improvement. You are not God and, therefore, you should not attempt to play that role in the lives of His people. If you do, you will end up failing the flock that God has entrusted to your care and experiencing misery as a result of playing God in the lives of His people. When you feel that you cannot go on in life, God’s grace is sufficient for you and He will order your footsteps. I am not advocating ignorance to the issues, circumstances, and situations of life. What I am saying is that facts are facts, and we must acknowledge them.

Moreover, faith changes facts, and the power of God is greater than the problems that you will face. Let the belief of your heart and the confessions of your mouth demonstrate that you have faith within you in the God that is above you. You can therefore handle the people, problems, pain, and pressures that come against you and happen to you. "You can do all things through Christ who gives you strength (Philippians 4:13), because greater is he within you than he that is in
