Believers who will be Raptured - Daniel Cho

    I. The secrets of the rapture

    1. Three times rapture

    2. The mystery of six-months

    3. Holy assembly on the eighth day (Shemini Atzeret)

    1. Three times rapture

I watched as he opened the sixth seal. There was a great earthquake. The sun turned black like sackcloth made of goat hair, the whole moon turned blood red, and the stars in the sky fell to earth, as late figs drop from a fig tree when shaken by a strong wind. The sky receded like a scroll, rolling up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place. Then the kings of the earth, the princes, the generals, the rich, the mighty, and every slave and every free man hid in caves and among the rocks of the mountains. They called to the mountains and the rocks, Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! For the great day of their wrath has come, and who can withstand it?" (Revelation 6:12-17).

There are the theology of pre-tribulation rapture, the mid-tribulation rapture, and the post-tribulation rapture. All three are wrong. This is because there is a word of theology added. If there is theology, theory, or -ism, they are not the truth at all regardless of the contents because they are man-made. Therefore, Calvinism is false, and Arminianism is wrong as well.

The theory of pre-millennials, post-millennials, and A-millennialism are also all false. This is because there are the words of -ism. We believe in Jesus' resurrection, not Jesus' resurrection-ism. We believe in the truth that there are heaven and hell, not the theory of heaven or hell. The ones who have created so many theories and -ism are the theologians. These theories and -ism were made by those who do not have the Holy Spirit. Thus, they make truth being confused.

Now is the end time when the Lord's Second Coming is imminent. Soon, the rapture will occur, the world will go into great judgment. However, there is confusion over when the rapture will take place at this time of preparation for the impending rapture and judgment. This confusion is due to the people who make and teach theory and -ism.

The church must teach the truth. They must teach only what the Holy Spirit opens as the truth, not the theory. The Bible reveals how and when the rapture occurs realistically and sometimes metaphorically. The church does not understand this and teaches various theories that they do not know the Bible. Thus, the congregation is being deceived.

Some preachers say: He believes in the post-tribulation rapture and respects the opinions of those who believe in the pre-tribulation rapture. To say this is not the right attitude for the truth. Scholars tend to respect different theories. But that is how it works in a secular study. The truth is not an opinion. There are only two kinds in the world: truth and false.

The true servant of the Lord is responsible for knowing and teaching correctly when the rapture will occur based on the time of the great tribulation. Many pastors do not teach the rapture because they do not know. But that can't be an excuse. In other words, the pastor must learn and teach about the rapture.

The rapture will be the most significant event in this world and, at the same time, is scheduled for the biggest feast day in the heavenly calendar. Throughout human history, there have been no such significant events. This event is a miracle that surpasses the miracle of creating the heavens and the earth.

It is more surprising than Noah's Flood and a fantastic event that exceeds the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The rapture event got to with all humanity: the old and the young, the believers and the unbelievers, the kings, the servants, the big and the small.

The rapture is when all those who have died in faith since the history of humanity are resurrected and come out of the tomb, and those who are saved, without seeing the death, on this earth are lifted and enter into heaven. The rapture is a significant event that puts an end to a world ruled by humans and transformed into a world ruled by Jesus Christ.

This unprecedented event in the history of mankind is near, and will God not let you know that time? Would you not know the exact day and time, but would it make you not know whether the rapture will be before, in the middle, or after the tribulation?

From now on, I will share about the times of the rapture and tribulation shown in the Bible. Regarding the rapture and the final tribulation, the book of Revelation tells very specifically. However, the book of Revelation does not directly describe when the rapture and tribulation begin. Nevertheless, if you meditate deeply on the book of Revelation and link it with the signs of the end times that the Lord speaks, you can see where the rapture and tribulation begin in the book of Revelation.

And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other. (Matt 24:31).

This verse shows the Lord coming and gathering his holy brides from all sides in heaven and taking them to heaven. In other words, this passage describes the rapture. However, some people understand this verse as the Lord coming down to earth, which is incorrect. If you eventually come down to the earth, there is no reason to gather people in the air. This is the scene of the rapture. Next, let's look at Matthew 24:29 and 30.

Immediately after the distress of those days 'the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.' At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory." (Matt 24:29-30).

This verse speaks of the signs of the Lord’s coming and people’s reactions when the Lord comes. It is said that when Christ comes to take the holy church, the sun and moon darken, and the stars fall from the sky.

It is also said that when the Lord comes, all people mourn as they see the glory of the Lord. This passage also shows that this is the rapture, not the Lord's return on earth. Because there is an expression that all the nations of the earth mourn in the text. Why would people mourn instead of rejoicing when the Lord comes to earth? Mourning here means they are sad. They mourn because when the rapture took place, they were left behind.

As seen above, Matthew 24:29-31 is a very realistic representation of the rapture scene. One thing to note is the text after the distress of those days in the first part of 24:29. This distress does not refer to the 7-year great tribulation. Even before the 7-year great tribulation, there will be considerable difficulties. That distress means these difficulties.

It is not correct to interpret that the rapture would take place after the tribulation for the reasons of this text. Therefore, the words of Matthew 24:29-31, which we have reviewed, should be understood as the Lord's explanation about the rapture.

Based on this understanding, if you meditate on the book of Revelation, it is easy to see that Revelation 6:12, 13 corresponds to Matthew 24:29 to 31. Let's look at Revelation 6:12, 13.

I watched as he opened the sixth seal. There was a great earthquake. The sun turned black like sackcloth made of goat hair, the whole moon turned blood red, and the stars in the sky fell to earth, as late figs drop from a fig tree when shaken by a strong wind. (Rev 6:12-13)

The scene of the sun and moon darkening and the stars falling to the earth in this verse coincides with Matthew 24:29. In the book of Revelation, the rapture takes place in this verse. The rapture took place between verses 6:11 and 12 of Revelation. The world becomes dark as the church, the light of the world, is raptured. Also, since the tribulation begins immediately after the rapture, the day becomes dark as a sign of tribulation.

As you realize that there is the rapture in Matthew 24:29-31 first, and then meditate on the book of Revelation, anyone can easily see where the rapture is in Revelation. They also will know that the world goes into tribulation right after the rapture. Matthew 24:30 shows all humankind witnessing the Lord coming and taking the church.

And then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the SON OF MAN COMING ON THE CLOUDS OF THE SKY with power and great glory. (Matt 24:30).

It is said that all the tribes on the earth, all mankind, see the Lord come. The same meaning of this verse is written in Revelation 6:15, 16.

Then the kings of the earth, the princes, the generals, the rich, the mighty, and every slave and every free man hid in caves and among the rocks of the mountains. They called to the mountains and the rocks, Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb!" (Rev 6:15-16).

This verse shows that all different kinds of people beg to be covered from the wrath of God and the Lamb of God after the onset of tribulation. This verse also shows that everyone on earth came to know that Christ, the Lamb of God, took the church and judged the world. As the rapture happens, God's mystery Jesus Christ will be revealed to all mankind. Next, look at Revelation 6:17.

For the great day of their wrath has come, and who can stand? (Rev 6:17).

This short passage clarifies that the tribulation begins in Revelation 6:12 when the sixth seal opened. There is no word that God's wrath has begun from the first seal to the fifth seal open.

In other words, the first through fifth seals are not part of the great tribulation period. This is also a critical point. Because many people misunderstand that tribulation begins with the first Seal. If you misunderstand this, it is hard to analyze the tribulation period correctly.

As we have seen above, we can realize four important points by understanding that the prophecy of Matthew 24:29-31 and the prophecy of Revelation 6:12-17 are consistent. First, the rapture takes place before the tribulation. Second, the world enters into the great tribulation immediately after the rapture.

Third, as the rapture happens, all mankind knows Christ is the Savior and Judge. Fourth, after the rapture, the people left behind will mourn as they think about their suffering in tribulation to come. The mourning of those left behind when the Lord comes is also seen in Revelation 1:7.

Look, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him; and all the peoples of the earth will mourn because of him. So shall it be! Amen. (Rev 1:7).

The prophecy of Matthew 24 is repeated in the book of Revelation. The astonishing revelation of God has opened at last when you interpret the Bible with the Bible. The mystery of God cannot be known if you try to dig it by man's theory. Instead, it becomes more hidden.

It is the Holy Spirit who let us see the revelation. It is also the Holy Spirit who hides revelation for you not to know it. The reason why theories about the time of the rapture are so rampant is that those who are obscured about the knowledge of the rapture distorted it.

There is the Word in the Bible to testify that the rapture takes place before the tribulation. Before looking at these words, let me give you a logical explanation that the holy churches must be raptured before the tribulation. If you read the book of Revelation, you can find out that the Seven Years of Tribulation is terrible and miserable.

The judgment during the tribulation is just to kill, destroy, and give physical pain. It is not a kind of test or training to build faith. This tribulation is a judgment for judgment. Therefore, there is no mercy during judgment. In this judgment, why should the holy saints who do not need to be further refined be left on the earth?

These are those who have already been tried, repented, regenerated, justified, and sanctified. Their robes have no blemishes or wrinkles and are shiny fine linens. These are fine gold that has already been drained of impurities. They do not need further refinement. These people have already carried the cross in their lives and followed the Lord.

They are those who have filled their bodies with the rest of Christ's suffering. They denied themselves, were tempered, and did not love wealth. These people devoted their efforts to prayer, the Word, and evangelism. Why should these saints be left on earth, where it turned into hell? What are they supposed to do there?

Was Noah saved by swimming after he fell in flood? Was Lot burned and saved at the place of a sulfur fire? God led them to escape from where there is judgment just before it begins. They escaped into the ark and to Zoar. When the plague of darkness and death fell on the land of Egypt, the Israelites were in Goshen, the land of light and life, which is far from the judgment place. They were not at the spot of the disaster. When Israelites crossed the Red Sea, the water struck after crossing the sea. Now, you can understand that the rapture occurs before the tribulation in logical aspects and even by looking at biblical examples of judgment.

    Let's look at Revelation 3:10.

Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come upon the whole world to test those who live on the earth. (Rev. 3:10).

This Word was given to the Philadelphia Church. The Philadelphia Church is the symbol of the church being raptured. This church is the most praised one among the seven churches and is one of the two churches that have not been reproved to repent. It is said that this church will be saved from the time of trial when there is a test on the whole world. When the tribulation comes, these kinds of churches enter the kingdom of heaven and are not there.

Those who say that there is a rapture after the tribulation interpret this verse as the saints are saved in the field of tribulation. However, if you look closely at the sentence, it is expressed that it will keep you from the time of trouble. It is appropriate to interpret this verse that you are not at the place of tribulation.

To say that believers are saved in the place of tribulation is equivalent to interpreting as when the apartment collapsed in an earthquake and destroyed, all six unbelieving family members will die. The only one who has faith will survive. It is the exact interpretation of when a nuclear bomb fell, 400,000 people without faith were killed, and only 30 true believers were selected to survive.

Of course, this is not impossible for God. However, as we can see from Lot's case, this is not how God saves. In Genesis 19:22, God said he could not judge until Lot ran away. God made Lot flee to a safe place and judge. Therefore, the Word of keeping you from the hour of trial in Revelation 3:10 reflects that the church will be raptured before the trial.

1 Corinthians 10:13 says that there will be no tests people cannot endure. The last great tribulation is a not-endurable test for the people. 1 Thessalonians 1:10 says that Jesus, who will come, will deliver the saints from the coming wrath. Luke 21:35, 36 tells us to pray and stay awake to avoid the tribulation that will come on all earth and stand before the Son of Man.

Those who are awake in prayer will escape the wrath of God and be raptured before the great tribulation comes to the whole world. As we have seen above, many passages in the Bible imply that there will be a rapture before the tribulation. There is a prophecy that there will be a rapture before the tribulation, even in the Old Testament. Let's look at Isaiah 26:19-21.

But your dead will live; their bodies will rise. You who dwell in the dust, wake up and shout for joy. Your dew is like the dew of the morning; the earth will give birth to her dead. Go, my people, enter your rooms and shut the doors behind you; hide yourselves for a little while until his wrath has passed by. See, the LORD is coming out of his dwelling to punish the people of the earth for their sins. The earth will disclose the blood shed upon her; she will conceal her slain no longer. (Isaiah 26:19-21).

This verse says that while God judges the earth, he resurrects the dead in the Lord and hides them in their rooms. These words are prophesying the pre-tribulation rapture. The Lord will have His saints raptured and put them in the safe and secure rooms in the kingdom of heaven.

Isaiah had already seen the rapture in which the Lord came and took the saints 2,700 years ago in the end times, and he prophesied. These words of prophecy are very poetic. It is such a beautiful thing that the holy churches of the Lord are lifted and protected before the tribulation. Perhaps that is why this verse is beautiful and poetic. Please try to read it slowly by yourself and taste it.
