    Foreword

Stop over rehearsing These were the words that we heard time and time again at drama school. You see, as humans we can allow the pressure to become all consuming, drama school was no different. We found that if we spent too long rehearsing our scenes that we would lose focus and drive for what we loved.

Exams and the stress that they bring can be a real life challenge for those around us. As a parent or educator, we always strive to help our children reach their full potential. Unfortunately, one of the greatest deterrents to achievement is exam stress. This is especially true for high-stakes exams, such as GCSEs and A levels which can have a significant impact on university admissions.

In this book, Nicole, and the guest experts, guide parents and educators alike on how to help their children to manage the stress and pressure associated with exams. They provide practical solutions based on real-life scenarios, as well as helping readers understand the psychological impact of exam stress on children, and strategies for helping to alleviate it.

In any situation, it is important to be aware of the challenges our children face. Exam stress is no exception, but with the right knowledge and strategies, we can arm ourselves with the tools to help our children better cope with the challenges they face. This book will provide an invaluable resource in helping our children rise to the occasion and reach their academic goals.
