About this ebook

When Pamela Dunne begins a new job in a retail outlet, she soon discovers one of her colleagues to be a nasty workplace bully. Feeling she has no other option, she decides to offer her resignation, but the owner of the establishment has other ideas.
Proprietor Joanne Keane has taken a shine to Pamela, and she doesn't wish to see her quit.
Miss Keane is appalled by what she has discovered, and, having absolutely no time for bullies, will see to it that the perpetrator pays properly for her actions.

In fact, most people would see me as a perfectly balanced young lady with an abundance of streetwise talents, but many would also suggest I was wasting those talents by not furthering my education.

Whatever; they are probably right, but I will get around to that at a later date if I feel the need. For the moment though, I am happy to live my eighteen-year-old life as I see fit. I had seen the same job advertised a few weeks previous, but when I’d rang the number for an interview I was informed that the position had been filled. I had been a bit disappointed at the time as it was the sort of thing I’d been looking for. I mean, nine to five, Monday to Friday? What’s not to like? The weekend nights free to go partying without having to worry
