About this ebook
Ruth Callan is possibly the worst spoiled brat you are ever likely to meet. When things don't go her selfish way, she throws the most appalling tantrums imaginable.
Finally, one of Ruth’s selfish demands is turned down by her long-suffering partner Paul, and the terrible tantrum that ensues sets forces in motion that could change the course of history itself.
Cayenne is the deliciously sadistic Dark Angel who is sent to the Realm of Mortals to view the damage Ruth has caused, and to try and put things right if at all possible. Armed with just a riding crop, a handful of arcane powers, and a no-nonsense approach, Cayenne sets about curbing Ruth’s bad attitude, while at the same time fighting to save the world itself.

~ 1: The Perfect Storm ~
Ruth Callan was quite a gal, as the old saying goes. She had everything; beauty, charisma, confidence; the whole works. An ex-cheerleader at college, she graduated with flying colours with degrees in business, accounting, and social studies. Big things were expected of Ruth in the corporate world, but that was as far as it went.
Why look for a career when one could just as easily live off the extremely generous allowance, doled out on a weekly basis, by one’s rich industrialist father? Why work when one doesn't have to? That kind of thing only got in the way of fun and social activities, and Ruth had plenty of those to keep her amused.
If one could look beyond the spoiled girl image, Ruth was actually fun to be around. She enjoyed the clubs and pubs, fine dining, and fancy vacations, same as everyone else in her financial circle. She was usually the life and soul of the party, and had her fair share of tag-alongs and admirers.
Before meeting Paul Harkin, there had always been a string of young men, queuing up like well-dressed lapdogs to do her bidding or invite her out, but Paul—despite his initial lack of interest in her—was the one who had caught her eye. He matched Ruth in good looks, charisma and confidence, but more importantly, he was filthy rich.
Unlike Ruth, however, Paul earned every cent he possessed. He had worked like crazy during the early part of the boom, establishing and expanding a reputable construction company, and had never expected any of his employees—from the head foreman right to the site labourer—to do anything he wouldn’t do himself.
Yes, Paul Harkin was a hands-on guy, and this approach earned him the respect of his peers, as well as the respect of a decent circle of genuine friends. Those friends shared Paul’s belief in working hard for a living, and when they played hard on weekends, they never lost sight of where the money came from that allowed them to do so. Therefore, some of them weren’t overly pleased when a certain pampered lass, and some of her buddies from the easier side of the tracks, began to charm their way into their company.
Despite some friendly warnings, Paul’s early indifference towards Ruth slowly eroded, and eventually they ended up becoming a couple. Ruth, well-practiced in the ancient art of getting one’s own way, pulled out all the stops: a little gift here and there, the right compliment at the right moment, a heavy dose of mindfulness, and she wasn’t exactly behind the door when it came to the provision of top class blowjobs.
After a while they were inseparable; constantly holding hands, showing up at parties and events together, and generally doing what couples who are deeply in love do. The initial concerns among Paul’s buddies eventually faded, and the lads came to take delight in their friend’s happiness. Ruth was fun, she was friendly, she mucked in, and she made Paul laugh, so what the hell?
A year later, everyone’s favourite couple moved into a beautiful mini-mansion, designed and built by Paul and his crew, in
