    It was a short drive to my shrink’s office, but the heavy traffic delayed me. I was an hour late and in no mood to be trifled with, especially by the nutcase who bumped into me.

    Out of my way, jerk, he said to me.

    I grabbed his collar and punched him squarely in the nose. He fell hard on his rump and blood gushed out his broken nose. Punching people in the nose is a bad habit I'm trying to break. It cost me my cop and private detective jobs. And that’s why I must see my shrink once a month.
