Standing in front of the mirror, I admired the colourful artwork covering my body.

I’d always loved tattoos – I’d got my first at 18, had added another eight over the years, on my arms.

I’d had a woman tattooed on my inner arm, a lotus flower on my wrist, and a magic wand on my right arm.

And I wasn’t the only one who loved my ink.

My hubby Dyfed, then 46, was a fan, too. We’d even got matching smiley-face tattoos on our arms.

Now, in August 2018, I was eyeing up the pale skin on my arms, with one thing in mind.
