Who’s Alex French?
The Alex French Private Investigator Series are old-school private detective novels, and a great read for any crime and suspense thriller lover. I’ve got back into the private eye mysteries recently, and it has been a lot of fun, and here we have some classic storylines presented in a new modern fashion, and I must admit I really enjoyed the series of books and the main character; Alex French is very much a character in the line of great mystery thriller series. Chapter One

Behind the police tape, a white coroner’s van sat in front of the 400 block of Chestnut Road. It waited to collect the body of Frank Smith, an attorney for the law firm of Higgins and Higgins, father to two teenagers, girls, and a mother who wailed long and loud on Sunday.

Earlier this month, Frank was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence. Reports at that time said Frank’s wife told the police that Frank had assaulted her during
