About this ebook
The US Dept of Veterans Affairs analyzed 55 million veteran's records and it is estimated that 20 veterans a day commit suicide. This story presents a fictional account of a Marine who tried to commit suicide because unconstitutional and misguided laws denied him the right to self-preservation.

About the Author

Automatic rifle fire from an AK47 peppered the tail section of the Boeing C-17 cargo plane as it lifted off from Bagram Air Force Base in Afghanistan. No one inside the aircraft was injured because the AK47 is not an accurate rifle and the intermediate power 7.62x39 round has a limited range.
The plane was ferrying 200 soldiers and Marines to Rhein Main Air Base in Germany before returning them home to the states. The men on board were exhausted but relieved that they had survived, more or less. Many would suffer knee and back problems for the rest of their lives from the 100+ pounds of equipment they carried into battle.
