JESUS CHRIST IS THE WORD

The Bible says:

John 1v1-5: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

The same was in the beginning with God.

All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made.

In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

Four things about the Word of God

1. It is Spirit and Life

John 6v63: The words that I speak unto you, they are Spirit, and they are life.

2. It gives direction

Psalm 119v105: Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

Joshua 1v8: This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

3. It sharpens and corrects

Hebrews 4v12: For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

4. The Word of God is the wisdom of God; you access wisdom through the Word of God

1 Corinthians1v24: but unto those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ, the power of God and the wisdom of God.

May your life be transformed in the Name of Jesus Christ; may you experience the Holy Spirit!
