God holds His Word higher than anything else. You need to develop faith. However, faith is not enough and faith in God to heal you is not enough (James 2:19). You must PUT IN THE WORK to develop faith in God’s Word! That means you need to read and meditate on Biblical verses and let these verses transform you (Psalm 1:1-3).

A huge obstacle to people’s faith is the fact that God refuses to work with any of the American congregations! God uses miracles to confirm that His Word is being preached (Mark 16:20). Few people realize that God’s path is not being preached in American churches! YIKES! Thus, God does not support any American congregation with miracles.

The preachers in America are selling the easiest path through life as the spiritual path. That is, they are telling their congregations that giving lip service to God and your heart to the world is God’s path to heaven! YIKES AGAIN! This is how they avoid the persecution that Jesus and all His disciples experienced. On top of that, American congregations DEMAND preachers sell them this hypocritical path! No miracles for them.

Over and over, Jesus said, “It is YOUR FAITH that has healed you!” Few people will allow God’s Word to transform their character unless they are desperate for a miracle. Allowing God’s Word to work within you will make you a NEW CREATURE, completely different from the people in most congregations (Galatians 6:15).

When you are in the privacy of your home reading the scriptures in this book and watching the accompanying video, you will find it easier to be honest with God. When I pray for people in churches, only a few come forward honestly. Most want a “warm fuzzy feeling,” or they feel they need to put on a show by falling backwards, or they are uncomfortable about being prayed over. For this reason, I have not been able to do mighty works, just as JESUS COULD NOT DO MIGHTY WORKS in His hometown! (Mark 6:5)

I was born into a Methodist family. I joined them every Sunday in going to a small country church in Illinois until I left for college at age 18. That was in 1968. In college I enjoyed studying the Bible with other college-age Christians. Studying the Bible changed my understanding of Christianity. Unlike everyone I knew in my church, I wanted to find God and His Love.When I did find God and His joy in 1971, no one in my "dead church" wanted me to be different. There was no love there, so I left. However, I was so excited about my independent life in Christ, I traveled regularly to meet other Christians. I fellowshipped with every Christian group that I came across, especially in Illinois, Florida, Texas and Arizona. The early 70's was a blessed time in America.

INTRODUCTION

It should be EXTREMELY EASY to convince your heavenly Father to reach down and heal you. God loves you with the GREATEST LOVE ever! God greatheartedly desires the inhabitants of the earth to testify: My Father in heaven healed me! Your loving heavenly Father does not want it to be difficult for you to be healed of anything.

He only asks that you put His Words ahead of the words of the hirelings (John 10:12, 13), who know there is money to be made by tickling their congregation’s itching ears with untruths. They preach what the masses demand to hear—the easiest path through life is the spiritual path. That is, hirelings preach that the path of giving lip service to God and your heart to the world is the spiritual path. Oppositely, that is the sleaziest path through life. And that path does not go where the people on it think it will go.

In the Biblical version of Christianity Jesus and all His disciples were persecuted and killed. In America’s version of Christianity most members become exceedingly rich. If you trust in America’s version of Christianity, even a little, God may well refuse to heal you! You would do well to search the scriptures to find out if a hireling is telling you the Truth as the Bereans did (Acts 17:11).

The most negative thing about hirelings, however, is what they omit. THEY OMIT THE JOY OF THE LORD! YIKES! The Joy of the Lord is the pathfinder for what we ought to do! God gives us joy when we are obedient and takes it away when we are disobedient (Revelation 3:19). The hirelings, who are on the outside of Christianity looking in, are only able preach their version of altruism. That is, they preach go to church whether you like it or not; and solemnly worship whether you like it or not.

When you understand the obvious and easily overcome obstacles that keep most people from being healed—you will be shocked at how easy it is to be healed. God has healed thousands of people at one time. Further, He desires to do that again!

This book will reveal everything, yes everything, you need to know and do to convince your loving and all-powerful heavenly Father to reach down and heal you! Your heavenly Father is reasonable and loving. When you seek to become reasonable and loving as He is, He will reach down and heal you.

I wrote this book to help people overcome the obstacles and the misinformation that keeps them from being healed. This book agrees with much of T.L. Osborn’s Healing the Sick. However, it has much more detail about how the sick are healed and why most are not healed. The methods I describe in this book have worked for me to convince God to heal numerous people, both in the USA and in the Philippines, where I have made more than twenty missionary trips. They will also work for you, if you put them to use.

I have been involved in both healings and prophecies. The first few people who said they were healed by my prayer, I asked, Are you sure? I did not experience any sensation when I spoke the words of healing. After a while, I realized that those I prayed for did sense they were healed, although I have never had a sensation that someone was healed.

On the other hand, even though many have prophesied over me, one time a person prophesied about my future and I immediately knew it was a true prophecy! And it did come to pass. (I realize there are many different experiences other than mine. Jesus did sense when the woman who touched His garment was healed (Matthew 9:20). And Naaman in II Kings 5:11 did not sense that he was going to be healed.)

I have experienced, also, a lack of understanding from those who want to be healed, many times it takes time and effort to develop faith in God’s Word. My work, so far, has been similar Jesus’ ministry in His hometown. There He could do no mighty work, only heal a few sick folks (Mark 6:5). I realize now that I needed to write a short book in order to help people develop faith in God’s Word. God’s people need to study and meditate on God’s Words before they can possibly abide in them. If you want to be healed, you need to PUT IN THE WORK!! God’s own people perish as well as remain sick for lack of knowledge, because they have rejected knowledge! (Hosea 4:6).

This book contains an abundance of scriptures because it is God’s Words that heals people, not my words. God promises us that He will heal the sick. God desires to heal. Your work is to develop faith in God’s Word. Faith is not enough. Faith in God is not enough. Faith in God’s ability to heal is not enough! Devils believe in God and tremble (James 2:19). What is needed for your healing is for you to develop faith in God’s Word!

This is your opportunity to put in that work of studying God’s Word, so that you can receive your healing. God guarantees you that if you put in the work to transform your mind and character with His Word, He will reward you! (Hebrews 11:6) Whether you believe me or not, search the scriptures in order to learn for yourself about God’s easily accessed and greathearted healing power.
