He accepted Jesus and was baptized at the age of eight. Shortly after, he began preaching and witnessing.
By the age of eleven, he began evangelizing, and he led about fifty of his classmates to Christ. Around fourteen years of age he was dedicated to helping to build up his neighborhood and ministering to the youth in his community. Pastor Irions was accepted into the Interdenominational School of Ministry, at sixteen the youngest person ever to be accepted. After high school, Pastor Irions married Katosha Seals. He then enlisted in the United States Army where he served as a chaplain assistant for four years.
Pastor Irions joined Manhattan Christian Fellowship Church in Manhattan, KS, as Youth Pastor. He later served on the Board of Elders at Morris Hill Chapel in Fort Riley, Kansas. Pastor Irions has been proud to serve the people of God in Iraq and had the privilege of serving as pastor for the soldiers during his tour for Iraqi Freedom.
He has earned a bachelor of science in management and ethics from Manhattan Christian College and a master of arts in counseling from Dallas Baptist University. He has also received certifications in RTS Bereavement Training, Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training, and Prepare/Enrich Marital Training. In 2006 Pastor Irions started New Destiny Christian Church, in Texas. Pastor Irions was led to move the ministry to Florida, with many members following close behind. Today he is the senior pastor of Abiding Faith Church in Tampa, Florida. He is also a Bishop in the United Fellowship of Christian Believers. www.abidingfaithchurch.comview less
