About this ebook
SPIRITUAL JOY
Leaping for joy because someone lied about you? (Luke 6:22, 23) Now that is extreme! Furthermore, doing so is not idiotic at all, it is profoundly wise!
Spiritual joy is the ESSENCE of Christianity. Jesus, the Apostle John and the Apostle Paul all said that the purpose of their preaching was to help people to be full of joy (John 15:11; II Corinthians 1:24; and I John 1:4). Thus, spiritual joy is the highest value in the Bible! It is the “pathfinder for what we ought to do!” Love is our work (yes, love is work) and joy is our reward. If it is not Extreme Joy Theology, it is NOT Biblical theology; it is RELIGIOUS ALTRUISM! In the New Testament almost every topic concerns our joy, especially the Apostle Paul’s writings. God really does love us; He always puts our long-term joy first!
THE LONG-NEEDED TEARING DOWN OF EVERYTHING
Legitimate Biblical doctrine is obligated to explain the path of spiritual joy. Since there is NOTHING, NADA, ZILCH, ZIPPO, NOT A SHRED of substance about joy in American theology or doctrines, they are NOT GODLY! They are from the dark side--devil doctrines. Look at any theology or church doctrine and see how joy is treated as an elusive mythical creature, if joy is mentioned at all. Just reading those other theologies is usually enough to kill your joy.
Biblical theology and Biblical Christianity simply DO NOT EXIST in modern America! Jesus’ sheep are scattered! (John 10:12) Not only do churches miss the “Spirit” of Christianity, they are too hypocritical to even get the words right. This book, in all probability, is the first Biblical doctrine you have ever seen!
Further, there is nothing in church doctrines about what we ought to do. And why should there be? All church devil doctrines say, “Do whatever we tell you to do and believe whatever we tell you to believe.” They say absolutely NOTHING about doing what the voice of Jesus (John 10:27) tells us to do. YIKES! Instead, they require everyone to check their reasoning faculties at the church door and never pick them up again. Ironically, “reason” is a necessity for salvation (Isaiah 1:18).
American preachers are hirelings, just pushing doctrines of devils in order to support their families. If any of them do know Jesus, why have they not told you that JESUS IS MERCY and mercy is Jesus?! God is love (I John 1:4) and Jesus is mercy (Matthew 9:13; Matthew 12:7 and Matthew 25:31-46). Read these verses and learn exactly why mercy is the most important act for our eternal joy.
However, these preachers are not solely to blame. Most Americans demand to be told that the easiest path through life is the spiritual path. And so, preachers gladly reassure them that giving lip service to God and their heart to the world is the path to heaven.
And now, impudent Evangelicals are saying they do not need to follow the commands of Jesus because they have taken it upon themselves to politically enforce what they think are “God’s laws.” These Evangelicals are in lockstep with the Pharisees, the Spanish Inquisition and the Taliban! All these groups used “politically enforcing God’s laws” as a cover for their evil deeds. God does not want or need anyone to politically enforce His laws. He condemns everyone who tries to justify himself as “God’s enforcer.” (Job 9:20).
Most American church goers are altruists, on the outside of Christianity looking in. They dwell in fortresses of unreasonable ideas, doing whatever they think is right in their own mind. Seeking God and getting to know Him would just make them different from everyone else in their congregation. Simply put, they are L-O-S-T lost, because God does not draw His line between Christians and non-Christians; He draws His line between Seekers and Dwellers!
Eric Demaree
I was born into a Methodist family. I joined them every Sunday in going to a small country church in Illinois until I left for college at age 18. That was in 1968. In college I enjoyed studying the Bible with other college-age Christians. Studying the Bible changed my understanding of Christianity. Unlike everyone I knew in my church, I wanted to find God and His Love. When I did find God and His joy in 1971, no one in my "dead church" wanted me to be different. There was no love there, so I left. However, I was so excited about my independent life in Christ, I traveled regularly to meet other Christians. I fellowshipped with every Christian group that I came across, especially in Illinois, Florida, Texas and Arizona. The early 70's was a blessed time in America.

FOREWORD
In this thought-provoking book, Eric reveals his masterful ability to discover heretofore unknown truths and articulate the difficult study of God’s existence.
Although I have known Eric for more than ten years, I was still surprised by his comprehensive religious narrative built on spiritual joy. It is all at once the most inspirational, the most informative and the most revolutionary religious narrative of this century! I cannot imagine any other religious narrative ever becoming more complete than this one. He could also call it The Theology of Everything
because, drawing from Einstein’s ideas, it positively unifies God and faith and science and reason!
Eric’s The Argument from Human Behavior is the most persuasive street-wise argument for God I have seen. It is strong enough that he makes the case for God’s existence to be declared scientifically probable. He argues that we all have perceptions of God’s existence every time we take our sense of wrong
seriously.
This book is a must read for everyone who wants to experience deep spiritual joy and gain an accurate understanding of the Biblical God—the God who has written His laws into our mind and heart. I agree with Eric that The Theology of Extreme Joy and The Argument from Human Behavior will clear the air about religions because they are reason’s most perceptive assault on religious absurdities and religious altruism.

INTRODUCTION
Leaping for joy because someone lied about you? (Luke 6:22, 23) Now that is extreme! Furthermore, doing so is not idiotic at all, it is profoundly wise!
Spiritual joy is the essence of Christianity. Jesus, the Apostle John and the Apostle Paul all said that the purpose of their preaching was to help people to be full of joy (John 15:11; II Corinthians 1:24; and I John 1:4). Thus, spiritual joy is the highest value in the Bible. It is also the pathfinder for what we ought to do! Love is our work (yes, love is work) and joy is our reward.
The Long-Needed Tearing Down of Everything!
Legitimate Biblical doctrine is obligated to explain the path of spiritual joy. Since there is NOTHING, NADA, ZILCH, ZIPPO, NOT A SHRED of substance about joy in American theology or doctrines, they are indeed devil doctrines. Look at any theology or church doctrine and see for yourself how joy is treated as an elusive mythical creature, if joy is mentioned at all! Just reading those other theologies is usually enough to kill your joy.
Further, theologies that claim to be reasonable have no working definition of reason nor do they even have a grasp of reason! The definition of reasonableness that God uses in Isaiah 1:18 is: the willingness to add facts to your mind’s picture of reality.
This book, in all probability, is the first legitimate Biblical doctrine you have ever seen! If it is not Extreme Joy Theology, it is NOT Biblical theology; it is religious altruism! The writers of those theologies, though well-meaning, do not seem to have had any deep experiences whatsoever with the God who is.
Most American churchgoers are altruists, on the outside of Christianity looking in.
Dwellers study the Bible only if they can continue to believe exactly what they already do believe. They will not welcome any new facts that would force them to revise their mind’s picture of what exists. Their hatred for thinking about the all-important moral laws God has written into everyone’s mind (Hebrews 10:16) has sabotaged discovering spiritual breakthroughs.
Another requirement for experiencing Extreme Joy is hating religious altruism, hating devil doctrines and hating religious deadness as explained in Hebrews 1:9. (Hate the lifelessness but love the person.) Sanctification from religious deadness brings heartwarming deliverance as well as joy. Moreover, religious narratives are duty-bound to preach appropriate sanctification and to denounce hypocrites the way Jesus did.
The ancient Greeks were constantly concerned about what it is that we ought to do.
Again, there is not anything in church doctrines about what we ought to do. And why should there be? All church devil doctrines say, Do whatever we tell you to do and believe whatever we tell you to believe.
They say absolutely nothing about doing what the voice of Jesus (John 10:27) tells us to do! Instead, they require everyone to check their reasoning faculties at the church door and never pick them up again. Ironically, reason
is a necessity for salvation (Isaiah 1:18).
Another pusher of devil doctrines, Bill Bright the Campus Crusader, programmed a generation of college students to ignore their virtuous feelings with his Four Spiritual Laws.
Little did that reprobate realize God leads us through our feelings of godly sorrow
and spiritual joy!
American preachers are hirelings, just pushing doctrines of devils in order to support their families. Telling people to follow the voice of Jesus would go against their every religious money-making formula.
Nevertheless, these preachers are not solely to blame. Most Americans demand to be told that the easiest path through life is the spiritual path. And so, preachers gladly reassure them that giving lip service to God and their heart to the world is the path to heaven.
And now, impudent Evangelicals are saying they do not need to follow the commands of Jesus because they have taken it upon themselves to politically enforce what they think are God’s laws.
These Evangelicals are in lockstep with the Pharisees, the Spanish Inquisition and the Taliban! All these groups used politically enforcing God’s laws
as a cover for their evil deeds. God does not want or need anyone to politically enforce His laws. He condemns everyone who tries to justify himself as God’s enforcer
(Job 9:20).
The political issue God cares about is how you treat the poor. If you vote for more horrific treatment of immigrants and vote for more neglect of the poor, you will undoubtedly have voted your soul into Hell. You cannot vote yourself into heaven, however, you can vote your soul into Hell because just the sin of omission of ignoring the poor can doom your soul. This is firmly established by the parable of The Goats and the Sheep, Matthew 25:31-46. Nothing supersedes this parable.
I would be neglectful if I did not include Trumpism, America’s worst religious cult. It is the worst cult because it demands, it shouts for, and it threatens violence in order to have the ideologically pure
SPIRIT OF ANTICHRIST rule over it! The spirit of antichrist is precisely the opposite of the Spirit
