About this ebook
Dr. Darlynne Kerr
Dr. Darlynne Kerr has worked in the healthcare arena for over 15 years. Working in healthcare provides Darlynne with a level of satisfaction as she can help others achieve their goals in life. As a teenager, she worked at Planned Parenthood, and was inspired by the impact she had on the lives of young women experiencing hardship. That experience served as the driving force to pursue a career in health, so she could help individuals overcome the challenges they face to progress to a higher level in life. Since that time, she has held various roles in different avenues within the healthcare sector, including customer service, entertainment, hospitality, management, marketing, teaching, and insurance, and has recently ventured into being an entrepreneur. As a marketing manager, Darlynne represents Fortune 100 companies. This aspect of her career has taught her a lot. Here, she develops, trains, and coaches people daily, giving her insight into the psychology behind human behavior, in addition to helping individuals to find solutions to enhance their lives. Darlynne’s journey in education began in New York, her home state. She received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Comparative Humanities in 2003 from SUNY Old Westbury. She then left New York and ventured down south, ending up in Atlanta, GA, where she attended Argosy University and finished her Master’s in Business Management in 2010. Business management has always been a part of her focus, as she has always said that if she runs her own business, she needs to know the ins and outs. While studying for management marketing, Darlynne became very interesting in the processes of how to present ideas and thoughts to the community. She continued her education with Argosy University to earn her Doctorate in Business Administration in 2017. Darlynne’s doctoral dissertation was published in 2019 by ProQuest.
