The book is a memoir of her work and uses examples of interactions with patients to illustrate the issues people deal with.
She is a New York State Licensed Clinical Social Worker with Post Graduate Training and Certification in Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis. She was also a Board Member and Co-Founder of New York Psychotherapy Group, and a Board Certified Diplomate. She worked with Children and Families for many years in a Child Guidance Clinic.
She believes that working together in a safe, non-judgmental atmosphere helps people express themselves, explore and clarify their feelings, understand themselves and others, and find options that will ultimately enable them to make changes in their life. She is psychodynamic, interactive, eclectic and pragmatic seeing individuals and couples from all walks of life.view less
