Dear Reader,
I am writing this to explain a bit about this book and why I have written the poems so you can get a better understanding of where my inspiration comes from…
Firstly, thank you for buying my book and taking the time to read it. Some of the poems in here are related to the time when I, at 15 years of age, lost my mum to pneumococcal meningitis. She was my biggest inspiration in life and she still inspires me to this day, even 14 years after her demise. My mum was an envious woman, full of desire and passion, and I suppose that’s where I get these traits from. My mother had three children in her life from two marriages. Her final wedding
