Expression of the heart for me is best done through my use of heart language, a combination of words defined by my feelings, emotions, experiences, memories created and the wisdom given to me after experiences; that creates in me the need to share what is in my heart and what and how I’m feeling about a person or situation.

Looking back over the years and over my own writings; some times I have thought to myself…Wow…did I really write that?

I’m amazed as well that in re-visiting those passages, that the emotions of certain writings are still very tender. A particular reading may instantly put me back into the moment of my writing and I am transported emotionally and spiritually back in time as I read and remember how those pieces came to be written.

The pages of this book will reveal to you a woman who has loved many times and lost many times. Though many heart aches and disappointments have been there… and many times on the verge of throwing up my arms, but ultimately…I have made the choice to keep on living and keep on loving because it is better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all.

To the reader, I wish you peace, joy, love and hope. Especially hope…for with hope mountains turn into molehills and battlefields turn into gardens.
