About this ebook
Summary Of The Plant Paradox By Dr Steven Gundry Steven Gundry's The Plant Paradox is a diet book, which argues that many fruits and vegetables are dangerous to your health. Gundry says that a plant protein called lectin is responsible for obesity and many autoimmune disorders. Gundry offers a diet that eliminates lectins, GMOs, and other toxins. This diet will allow people to reduce weight, improve health, and eliminate a wide range of conditions including diabetes, heart disease, lupus, and more. Lectins are plant toxins. Plants evolved lectins as poisons to discourage insects from eating plant seeds or other parts of the plant. Lectins are in most plants, and can cause sickness in humans. Eating good plants is vital for health, but many plants we typically think of as "healthy" are actually full of lectins, which cause damage to the body.

Summary Of The Plant Paradox By Steven R. Gundry - Swift Read
It’s not your fault!
Everything that we have believed for decades about our diet, weight and health is wrong. The author describes his own health problems which persisted even after a carefully formulated diet and rigorous exercise and workout routine. Most of us know that something isn’t right but don’t know what and keep blaming ourselves. What is really important here is to analyze that we are not to be blamed for our health conditions!
Be prepared for all of your assumptions to be challenged and for your mind to be blown away. The author, as a doctor, has found out a common cause for all our health problems which is so well hidden that we would never have noticed it. A significant portion of the answer to ‘why’ our collective health has declined over the past decades and our collective weight risen so drastically starts with plant proteins called ‘lectins’, a more familiar form of which is gluten.
Lectins are found in a vast majority of the current diets of Americans including plants and grains, meat, poultry and fish. These toxins were essentially produced by plants back in the day to protect themselves and their offspring from insects. It also turns out that these same lectins or toxins can cause damage to human health and have an impact on our weight. This implies that most plants actually want to make us ill and there are some plants which are only harmful when consumed in large portions.
Our food itself and the way it is prepared as well as the use of certain personal care products and drugs messes with the way our cells communicate with each other and disrupts the whole inputs and outputs within us. However, this damage is fortunately reversible and this book provides a road map to get back on track and reduce our overreliance on certain foods. All of the guidelines and concepts in this book come from an accomplished doctor who was a successful practitioner of conventional medicine before he realized that it was possible to reverse heart disease with diet instead of surgery. His experience has not only revolutionized his medical experience but also changed the lives of hundreds of thousands of readers and patients. The author is also the inventor of many devices used to protect the heart during surgery. With his extensive experience in xenotransplantation, which is a method to fool the immune system, he realized that our immune system is actually being fooled and found a way to fix
