INTRODUCTION

Being a parent to your biological children is a real challenge, let alone being a parent to another person's children which is more challenging. When remarrying drives you into step-parenting roles, you'll find the journey filled with obstacles. But with a little sensitivity and a lot of communication, one can find the role of step-parenting very rewarding.

Step-parenting can mean dealing with marriage and parenthood at the same time. Adjusting to marriage can necessarily be a challenge, but when you combine issues with children, who are always bitter and confusing, you won't have a good start.
