INTRODUCTION
How much time do you devote to getting ready to go to the gym? The average person spends at least ten to fifteen minutes changing clothes and packing their belonging.
Then, you're probably going to drive 15 to 20 minutes to the nearest gym. If you live in an area without a gym, your commute may be considerably longer. You may be spending more time getting to and from the gym than you are exercising.
Once you arrive, if someone else is using your preferred piece of equipment, you may have to wait 10 or more minutes for it to become available.
When all factors are considered, going to the gym may be fairly time consuming, expensive, and depleting.
However, the gym is not your only choice for remaining fit. Fitness does not have to be an all-consuming pastime that requires you to adjust your daily schedule.
You may be thinking right now, If my aim is to loss weight, build muscle, or tone my body, working out is critical.
True, but you have other options besides the gym and may include fitness tips into your regular routines.
"Approximately four days of virtuous living are required to develop
a small amount of weight loss. That is also the amount of time required to adjust to eating less.
In other words, if you can make it until the third day of a fitness plan, your situation will improve."
Martha Beck
