FOCUSING on the “fit” part of the word “fitness” is perhaps the most important component of developing a successful fitness routine. According to the American Diabetes Association’s Standard of Care guidelines, individuals with diabetes should engage in 150 minutes or more of moderate to vigorous aerobic activity each week. It seems simple, but according to the President’s Council on Sports, Fitness and Nutrition, only one in three adults actually meet the recommended guidelines for physical activity. Here are some tips to help you fit fitness into a busy schedule.
