Being Accountable - Danica Denise Genova

    Being Accountable

We are in an age where the selfie reigns, and we calculate our self-worth by likes and views on social media. These are the times, and we all must adapt accordingly to some extent. However, personal accountability is also necessary to live a whole, balanced life. I believe that what you put out into the universe affects you, and every other thing in existence.

Some of the first things most of us do straight away in the morning is look in the mirror, and get on the scale. It’s human nature to take stock of our outer being for health reasons, as well for vanity, but how often do we go inward and focus on the inside and evaluate our mind, body, and soul?

My food diary/exercise tracker has many missing days.

I don’t have a journal anymore to reflect on my personal growth and goal planning because I really need more notebooks, papers, etc.?

I found a lot of different journals for diet, exercise, meal planning, but not one that allowed me to track multiple daily life events. So, I created my own.

I want to be able to track whether I made the right food choices. Did I exercise, or make an excuse not to? Did I do something to help the planet, people, animals, etc.? At the end of the week, I can see how much time and effort I’ve devoted to bettering myself, and furthering my personal goals.

Scientists and behavioral researchers say it takes approximately 66 days to change a habit, or add a new one. I made this book a 12-week journal to make sure those personal changes would have a decent
