    What is Hypnosis?

    We naturally go into Hypnosis about a dozen times a day. I understand when I'm driving my car, and I slip into that Zone

    my mind is pretty much blank, I'm not thinking of anything. You can enter into Hypnosis by gazing at a dot on the wall. The act of meditation will put your mind into the Alpha Brainwave State,

    which is Hypnosis. If you prey for several minutes, you can go into Hypnosis. Focused attention on anything will bring on the state of Hypnosis. So you now understand that Hypnosis is a

    natural state of mind, our minds go there with or without a formal induction. In my pre-talk with clients, before we start the session, I will inform them everything about what it seems like to be hypnotized and cover the mistaken beliefs and fears they may have. Some of my clients are so afraid that while they are filling out my intake form, their hands are shaking. When they arrive for their second session, they are always extremely relaxed because, in the very first session, they didn't even think they were in Hypnosis.

    Regarding the unwarranted worry that some individuals have just before going into Hypnosis, if you believe about it, Hypnosis is genuinely nothing. Hypnosis is absolutely nothing like that.

    When you are going to sleep or waking up from sleep, your mind goes through the various phases of brainwave activity. Bata is where you are now if you are not daydreaming, that is. The waves are quick. Just under that awareness is Alpha. The waves are slower, and you are awake; however, in a modified state of consciousness. Have you ever drive your vehicle, and you are concern just at your exit questioning where you were? Yes, you have your mind attached to the Alpha state while driving. This is the same thing your brain does while in Hypnosis. Keep in mind while driving your automobile you remained in control, you didn't hit anything, it's the same with Hypnosis. Under Alpha comes Theta, you're not sleeping but headed towards sleep.

    Then you are asleep, that is called Delta. When you get up, you go through those brainwave states in reverse.

    Now that we comprehend how our minds work, let's start discussing Hypnosis. Hypnosis is the bypass of the crucial aspect in the conscious mind and the establishment of acceptingdiscerningthoughts. Note the meaning doesn't state anything about relaxation or surrendering your control?
