OVERVIEW

Over the past couple of years, people from various ethnic backgrounds have been asking me, Grace, how do you do it? How can you be all of these things and achieve all that much in a foreign country—all by yourself?

The only answer I know to give is this: It’s not me—at least not the part of me they can see or they think I am. It is something within me. It’s a source within me that is capable of manifesting anything it wants. So when I get questions like, But how do you do it? I simply answer: I really do nothing. I just be.

And that’s the truth. I simply connect with the authentic part of me—the part of me that expresses my soul’s desires. I go wherever it leads me and do whatever it tells me, even if it might not make very much sense to me at first. I just carry on with following my inner voice and compass. I basically do whatever makes my heart sing. Of course, there are times when my brain would try to dissuade me or try to convince me about risks involved, etc., but I carry on nevertheless. This has been the way I have lived my life, and this truly is my secret.

Once I had a client of African origin who after the first consultation in my office for a training program, came back again the next day just to ask me a simple question. She said: I’ve been thinking about you since our meeting yesterday. I am so impressed and inspired by you, and I would like to know how you’ve managed to achieved this much in Germany. What’s your secret?

This caught me off guard. I wasn’t expecting a question like that, at least not in a business environment and not from a client. However, she sounded honest and serious about her question. She really wanted to know. So I simply told her it was the great divine.

She frowned slightly and asked, The great divine, as in God?

I simply nodded and answered, Yes. It’s the power of God and his divine manifestation in my life.

I’m not sure if that was the answer she was expecting, but I could sense that she believed in a higher power and was on her own life’s journey. My words seemed to calm her, and she answered back: I too believe in God, and your words just reassured me that I’m on the right track.

I sometimes have to jokingly tell people that I have no magical wand to give or share. But that the intentions, thoughts, feelings, and emotions I send out come back as the reality they see in my life. Though there is neither a magical wand nor a magic potion to share, I have since come to realize that I actually do have something more powerful to share: the wisdom and principles that have guided and brought me this far in life. That’s where the idea of the book came from.

The messages shared in this book are for anyone struggling with societal demands, with outside influences, and with peer pressure. These individuals truly want to be independent and need to learn to live from within. They need to find their core, break free from traditions that are no longer serving them and learn to connect with their authentic selves. For the greatest form of ignorance does not come from lack of knowledge or lack of information. It comes from not truly knowing oneself.

This book contains wisdom and thoughts that have empowered and guided me personally and professionally throughout my life. Hopefully, it will inspire and empower you to believe in yourself and to know that there is really nothing beyond your reach. I will be reflecting on some of my life’s experiences and on the lessons learned along the way. My goal is to help you understand that the source of all achievements lies within the authentic self and that you can set yourself free from external influences by looking inward and being the true version of yourself.

One problem we have in the world today is that we rely a lot on others and on society. We worry too much about what others think about us, and we find ourselves listening to external opinions more than we listen to our inner selves.

How do we listen? How do we tap into our secret power? This is the divine message my soul wants to share with the rest of the world—to share principles that I have been applying in my life for decades and that have guided me to success. My goal is one motivated by love, to empower and share a message of self-reliance. Guided by the source of all creations, I will be sharing words of wisdom and inspiration from the depths of my soul to help you understand how you can connect with the divine light within and use it to manifest your dreams into reality.

This book is divided into very short chapters, each a message touching on a different topic and a different life experience but with the central message of relying on your authentic self.

The principles laid out in this book are open to all, regardless of origin, faith, or religion. Sometimes I use quotations from the Bible to emphasize certain principles. However, this should not be interpreted as a restriction to the Christian faith.

Your Truth

Will you build up a wall and surround yourself with a

facade of thorns to protect your spirit and tender heart?

Will you hide your truth and your beauty?

Will you hide the self no one else can be?

Will you lock up your true self forever, or will

you release your truth and set yourself free?

W e all have something unique within us—something that we have not been taught to acknowledge or grow accustomed to.

Your number one goal in life is to recognize this uniqueness and fully tap into it. You have to teach yourself to constantly apply this uniqueness in all aspects of your life. Once you start doing so, many powerful things will start happening to you. No one is average.
