This work of heart is lovingly dedicated to all those who are trying really hard to find themselves. This is to all those who have taken wrong turns, backward detours, and have just been stuck at the cross roads of life for far too long. This is to those who may not know how or where to start looking for themselves. I hope this book sheds some light on where you can take your first steps to self love.

First, thank you for choosing to read my words.

Let me warn you. This is a story consisting of love; yet it is not a love story.

I felt the need to write you this letter to explain to you the things written will seem wrong to the umph degree. I’ve always wanted to share this particular story because there are so many women out there like me; who’ve gone through this very thing, but feel they are the only one. They may even feel ashamed; thinking what happened could be their fault. I haven’t shared this story before now because I didn’t want people to judge me. Well, let me say, I’ve already judged myself (over the last ten years) and I’ve prayed about it and have asked for forgiveness from God the Father. I’ve forgiven those who took part in the conditioning that helped to shape me into what I’d become early in life, but no longer am.

My goal in writing this story is to help anyone who is addicted to the search for love, know that it is already within themselves. Love starts at home. That means, love starts inside you.

I pray this story will help you know it is really okay to forgive those who have hurt you, and not hold any grudges. I pray this story will inspire you to forgive yourself and move forward on a positive path. I have finally forgiven myself. Therefore, I am finally able to share my truths with you.

I hope you find hope, joy, love, and forgiveness in the pages behind this one.
