()
About this ebook
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your heart to the Lord (Colossians 3:16).
Minister Debbie Williams
About the Author My name is Debbie Williams. My husband, LaMond, and I live in Palmdale, California, with our children. With this book, I also have written Riddle Me This, a book of biblical riddles. I enjoy the Word of God and being a part of the body of Christ. I also enjoy art, crafts, animated things. I love to design, create, and repurpose things. I was raised in the church and have been in the church most of my life. However, there were times that I left the church to do my own thing. The church was all I knew I wanted to see what else was out there, and I did. I wrote this book, Adam and Steve: My Flesh, My Desire in hopes of helping someone along the way who maybe struggling with homosexuality or a parent of a child who is having a hard time understanding who they are. I received my ministry license in March 2002 and my bachelor of arts in biblical studies, and masters in theology in December 2016 at California University of Theology. But even more than that, I have the knowledge about the homosexual lifestyle because I myself have lived it, walked it, and talked it. But with God, there is hope.

Introduction
In light of the Supreme Court ruling on same sex marriage, I feel the need to enlighten you on the mistake of caving into fleshly desires like I once did. This book will show you that sin is sin, and not even the Supreme Court can overrule God’s law. Making a decision to please man and his flesh is a grave error. The Word of God clearly speaks out about homosexuality. Leviticus 20:13 states, Man laying with Man as with a Woman.
Nevertheless, the law was passed. We’ll go more into this in greater detail. We’ll talk about where this world is headed and why man would rather fulfill the desires of the flesh versus the will of God.
The fact of the matter is that we do indeed have free will given from God; we are free to make our own decisions. However, should we choose to cave into our fleshly desires? Is our flesh stronger than our will to serve our Creator? Why is homosexuality so popular now? It’s in every TV show, cartoon, books, magazine covers. You can’t even publicly speak against homosexuality at the risk of being blackballed or labeled homophobic. I will explain how true Christians are not homophobic (Christian = Christ like) and how professing to be a Christian doesn’t make you one and how to know the difference.
I will talk about how God loves the man, not the sin, and how a Christian’s job is to be a living witness of God and his power to change a man’s heart toward him. We are sinners saved by Christ. We, as Christians, focus on the Word of God, getting right with God and staying that way by using the power God gave us to say no to sin. The intent of this book is to open your eyes to the truth. This book will answer some questions about homosexuality that you may not have known. It will give you a better understanding about God, man, and the church.
Chapter 1
My Story
My desire is to serve the Lord, which has not always been so clear to me. I now have a better understanding of the Lord and who he is through studying his word. Whereas earlier in my life, I just thought I did. This is my story.
Some may want to know how and why this book. Well, I’ve lived with a secret, and I’m going to share it with you. My secret is that I was attracted to women as a young girl growing up in the church. You see, I knew early on I was different. About the age of six or seven, while other girls were looking at boys and giggling, I was looking at both genders. I learned early on that being gay was frowned upon to say the least. Even as a child, I heard the preachers preach about how homosexuality was a sin, that men with men and women with women was wrong, and how you would end up in hell. So I kept it to myself.
The first person I told was my best friend. We grew up in the church together. One day, I just wanted to get it out in the open, so I told him I had a secret. He told me he had one too. We shared our secrets as kids do, hoping I wouldn’t lose my close friend to this secret. After all, he was in the church too. Come to find out, we shared the same secret. We kept each other’s secret and spent more time together. I felt safe talking to him. I didn’t feel alone any more. I had a friend to share things with now. Remember, I was born in 1976, and there was little to no information out there. This was not
