About this ebook

But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.8 We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;9 Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;10 Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.11 For we which live are always delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.12 So then death worketh in us, but life in you.13 We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak; 14 Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you.
15 For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.16 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:7-18

Reflections of my daughter Trelanie when I first held her in my arms: were sometimes puzzling but amazing since I was just very young myself. And with no experience of my own and not knowing what the future may hold for the both of us, the minute she came into my world, she has been someone that I will never regret having.

Who would have ever thought this burst of sunshine would be a delight to my life in such a beautiful and miraculous way. Throughout the years, Trelanie has shown me this quiet and reserve little girl, to this now beautiful, outspoken, take charge, and very confident human being.

This daughter has taught me things about motherhood that I had never thought to have imagined. The first of my strength, Trelanie, is bold and understanding she has embrace who she is as a woman, but more importantly, she has taught me that to give love is to accept love also.

Trelanie is said to look like me - my twin, but she is also my friend, and although she is my daughter, I am glad to experience our lives together in the beginning and to see even more transformation in our ending.

I say to you Trelanie embrace your difficulties, experience your possibilities, and never get tired of moving forward.

    Love mommy.

A son such as Carlton and A Man of Distinction.

Carlton, you are a Man of Wisdom, a family man, and a very handsome person.

My firstborn son – when you were born, I rejoiced greatly for a son was given unto me, and he shall lead our family on the right path.

Who could have ever known that you would embrace my world and help me to understand the purpose and the divine timing of the Lord? From two different worlds and separated at an early age, Carlton, I have seen you bridge the gaps of confusion and strife. I have seen you allow what you may not understand to be what you come to know and seek after. You are your father’s son and your mother’s reward.

Carlton, you are full of love and compassion. A heart of gold and stories not yet even told, and you have the heart to change the status quo of our generation. I never had to worry about you because you always knew what was right, and with that, you had in your mind to
