About this ebook

The book is a collection of poems that I have assembled over the last few years of my life. They represent different parts of my life, my struggles, my happiness, my trials, and my accomplishments. During all of these times, I realized that I would not have been able to put these pages together if it was not for God, who has been with me from the beginning. All the glory belongs to the Lord. I am so excited to be able to release these words, and I pray that, if you are reading, these pages may become life and health and strengthen you.

From Grief to Grace - Tameka Douglas

    CHAPTER ONE

    Children

    Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.(NIV Bible)

This was the beginning of caring for me it was not until I thought that I was dying until I began to live. These four children that God has bless me with have push me to raise the standards on life. I push to give them more than what I have had and growing up I was neither deprived or poor. During this journey of raising children, never been married, and mostly me and them. It has not been easy, but God. I have dealt with chaos most of the time. The Devil thought he had me beat, but the Holy Spirit commissioned me to prophesy over each one of their lives. Oh, Yes the weapons may be formed, but they will not prosper. Oh! Who am I talking to. You had better use your authority on that thing cut it down, pluck it up, and kill that thing. That thing is up under your feet not you under it. Confess it, believe it, and achieve it! Start getting rid of those unwanted, agitating things that keep trying to conquer you.
