    PREFACE

After publishing my previous book, Pre 1949 Acupuncture, I have received a lot of enquiries regarding the subject. Hence, I am once again putting pen to paper to look at the issue in greater depth. If the reader is still unclear, I can only say that this is not only a difficult subject to teach but is also to discuss. This does not mean the topic of pre 1949 acupuncture is lacking in importance, just that there are many times in Chinese language which fail to have an adequate English language counterpart.

What made this answer so amazing was threefold. Firstly, I knew that research at an Australian university (unnamed) has recently found while bacteria didn’t have individual consciousnesses (of course not), they did have group consciousnesses and are able to get away from the effects of oncoming antibiotics. Secondly, I came across a news report, not long ago, from a university in Chicago that
