Open your mouth, judge righteously, and administer justice for the poor and the needy.
—Proverbs 31:9 (AMPC)
Nevertheless, in [the plan of] the Lord and from His point of view woman is not apart from and independent of man, nor is man aloof from and independent of woman. For as woman was made from man, even so man is also born of woman; and all [whether male or female go forth] from God [as their Author].

I am very grateful to God, my Father in heaven, who has brought me this far through it all, to be able to write this book according to His wisdom and His word and His divine perspective about marriage and family using my own experience. Lord, I love You deeply, and I wholly dedicate this book and its teachings to everything and anything that would promote Your kingdom as we patiently wait for Your return in glory.
I am enthused to also dedicate this book to my first son and seed, Ivan (God’s gift). An experience like this wouldn’t have been possible without him. I am more than pleased to be called your mother. I had an absolutely different experience throughout your birth and growing up. I continue to pray the Lord’s covering, according to Psalm 91. I love you endlessly.
That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell all of thy wondrous works
(Psalm 26:7 KJV). Amen.
To the King of glory, in Psalm 24:7–10 (KJV), Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah.
Amen.
Introduction
When I was a young growing lady who had just graduated from a nursing college in Ghana, life threw many choices at me. I decided to accept a proposal from my then fiancé to marry him in my next step of life and carry on with my dreams after that. Full of love and bloom, I felt independence together. The dream was building an unbreakable life together.
I was only twenty-three at the time and a truly devoted Christian. Marriage clouded my readiness to build my future. To my astonishment, and as you reading this can attest, different backgrounds, cultures, and personalities don’t make a cooperation work or become successful if you don’t work to understand each other.
This book is meant to bring to you the realities of marriage and marrying too early, the challenges and opposition life throws at you and how you can fully cope. It will also show you the purpose of God’s marriage, according to His plan. After reading about my true-life events, I hope you will shape your life and mind to make better choices and decisions in terms of marriage and relationships.
