When I think of my life in regards to the years of struggle with lesbianism, I quickly think about the Children of Israel. The 40 year circular journey they traveled was far from easy, but despite their constant disobedience and complaints, they had the Almighty Sovereign God who was faithful and longsuffering despite those behaviors. Thank the Lord of Lords and the Kings of Kings for that longsuffering with me then………. and now. My journey has been a 40 year drama which has taken me through many forms of wilderness. Once my mind had been hijacked by the adversary, my life followed suit. I am thrilled to say the psychological, emotional, physical, and spiritual trip into the wilderness of lesbianism is over. I am free, because Jesus has set me free indeed. As I continue to walk through this 10 year plus deliverance journey, I understand Adonai’s purpose in setting me free for such a time as this. I pray that you too will find it easier to understand that the time is now, for the redeemed to speak up and to come out of our spiritual bondages in order to set others free. May this work of ministry help in doing so. Shalom!

He Saw Me

HE SAW ME!

Sometimes when he spoke, I didn’t always understand

And the smile behind his words made me wonder, Who really is this Man?

I was still quite young when I met Him you see; I didn’t yet know him…..But he knew Me!

I think He zeroed in on who I was to be,

The Lord had begun His work & would complete it in me.

As time brought forth many many changes, my life had become

A life of rearranges. Being up being down, I was bound and not free,

I didn’t recognize myself, and most others were afraid to see.

But not this man, the man called Uncle Willie…..

FOR HE SAW ME!

I remember just thinking what do I say, how can I explain just

Why I fell away. But he never asked because it didn’t matter,

He had heard the stories, the gossip, the chatter.

And you see, what he knew was that my soul had been battered,

BECAUSE HE SAW ME!

Now that he’s gone and his work has been completed, I fully

Understand why I’m no longer defeated;

This man called Uncle, My Poppa he came to be, with Lisa,

Bryn, his beautiful wife Pauline.

They have not waivered in their love you see……..

JUST BECAUSE ………. HE SAW ME!

INTRODUCTION

I REMEMBER THE DAY I KNEW I WOULD WRITE THIS BOOK EVER SO clearly. I was home from work sick and out of boredom, began channel surfing to find something that would entertain me for at least a couple of hours. I didn’t feel physically well enough to read or pray. I didn’t feel well enough to do anything that would be spiritually good for me to do.

It was a Monday and I had preached Sunday morning service, at the request of my Pastor. Doing so somehow created a little more pain, but I loved the ministry of the word and I knew that the Lord would get me through as He did. Monday seemed to want to pay me back for sowing the word with my body reaping in physical pain.

Normal day time television gave pretty much the same choices of talk shows, soap operas, game shows, and oh yes ESPN the all sports channel. Oprah was winding down her last year after 25 years of her favorite things, car giveaways,
