About this ebook
Mr. C. Hill
Calvin Hill, a husband and father of three boys, was born in Chesapeake, VA in 1981. He was raised there by his mother and father and had two siblings, a brother and a sister. Calvin’s school years were also spent in Chesapeake, VA and he graduated with the class of 2000 from Indian River High School. Upon graduation, Calvin decided to join the USMC where he served for 8 years including two deployments in Operation Iraqi Freedom. Since childhood, Calvin felt that most people didn’t always understand his thoughts or that he wasn’t always able to relay them as he would have liked. On November 10, 2004, while serving in Iraq, Calvin began writing his thoughts down with no clear vision of what these “journals” would be or who would read them. He continued to write his thoughts in his journals as a way to speak the thoughts no one understood and to document the thoughts that he knew were straight from God. This continued sporadically throughout the years even until the present time. In September 2015, Calvin decided to share those thoughts with the world with the hope of inspiring someone else who may feel misunderstood. This was the birth of “Just My Thoughts.”

Introduction
How many people take the time to travel through the thoughts of his or her mind, simply to try and make sense of what they may be thinking? Now, out of those that dare, how many can clearly express it without being offensive or a lunatic? We do not understand most people because we can’t see the thoughts behind what they say. Here is my attempt at doing that very thing. I used as much grace as I could in sharing my thoughts. Grace are special seasonings that can help transfer what we think into what we say. Grace is a salt that we season our words with in an attempt to feed someone else our thoughts. Not enough grace in what we say leaves a bad taste in people’s mouths.
Dedication
This book is Dedicated to the people that have inspired and contributed to the ideas and principles that I have lived with and struggled in. The people that have been there and supported me through the good and bad. The people that have set the example before and during my time. To the people that I need to say thank you to and the ones that I say thank you to even still.
To the leaders that I’ve never met, but have listened to over the years. Salute!
Thank you:
