The Killer Who Couldn’T Be Caught and the Skies the Limit - Lisa Dunbar
Part one
Chapter 1
Susan you really need to get out more. All you do is stay in your dorm and study all the time,
said Rachel.
Rachel I don’t want to fall behind on my grades. And with everything else screwed up in my life. The last thing I need to do is to lose my scholarship,
said Susan with a pitchy voice.
Tell you what you are going to get dressed and glamour up. Don’t ask why.
Rachel every time we go out something bad always goes wrong. And Professor Boyd is giving out our mid-terms exam. I need to study," said Susan
Well then take a break. We won’t be gone long anyway,
said Rachel with a slight smirk in her tone tone.
I don’t’ know Rachel,
said Susan.
Oh come on Susan it’ll be fine. And plus you know that guy you like that’s in your liberal arts class?
said Rachel.
You mean Ben Stevens?
asked Susan.
Mhhhmm. Word has it he’ll be at the party. Which I think for you would be a good opportunity to talk to him. Grrrr,
said Rachel.
Ok. Time I go. But if there’s any signs of trouble I’m leaving,
said Susan.
Susan got ready to go to the party. She wore a black dress with her favorite pair of high heels. Her long dark hair hung down waist length.
Ok. I’m ready Rachel,
said Susan.
You look hot. Ben is going to like you. No doubt about it.
Thanks Rachel,
said Susan.
Rachel and Susan were headed down the stairway that led to the parking lot in front of the school.
Whoa. Rachel that’s your car? How could you afford something like this?
My boss was feeling a little generous so he gave me a raise. This car has it all Susan.
So did Ben say anything about me Rachel?
Um. I really don’t know him all that well. But he’s been giving you the eye for quite some time.
You think he likes me?
"Oh come on Susan really? Just look at you. You are far
Prettier than Dorothy Meadows. And she’s the most popular girl on compass."
Rachel I’m not pretty.
Yes you are Susan.
After a thirty minute drive Rachel and Susan finally made it to the party.
There has to be at least over one hundred and fifty people here Rachel.
Susan you’re not going to chicken out now are you? Besides we just got here. And you know who is over by the bar looking at you. And honey he is absolutely checking you out.
Rachel does my hair look ok?
Susan you look fine.
Should I go over there and talk to him?
I don’t think so. It looks like he’s coming over here.
Ben Stevens couldn’t help but look at the two brunets that stood in front of his very eyes. He had to have them for his own. He had to imagine hearing them scream and cry begging for their life.
Oh how much he loved women that were petite with brown eyes. He could just feel how good it would be to slit their throat and cut their hair off.
He pushed back his pleasurable thoughts and decided to properly introduce his self to the two young attractive females.
Rachel he’s coming. Are you sure my hair looks ok?
"Susan for the fifteenth time yes. You look fine. No wait.
You’re gorgeous. No I’m going way over there and I’m going to leave the two of you alone."
Rachel don’t leave me. Rachel……. Rachel…..
Rachel went to the other side of the bar. Where a bunch of guys tries to flirt with her. Some of them even offered to buy her some drinks. But she kept telling them to bug off. As she watched her friend talk to Ben Stevens she picked on something about him that was beyond evil something more sinister. But she wanted to see if her best friend happy.
Hi. I’m Ben and you are?
Susan.
"Susan. Wow that’s a pretty name.
