About this ebook
It is my belief that many people struggle every day. The economic downfall we are facing has crippled many people in the way they provide for their family and meet their basic needs. This is a challenging time and life is throwing hefty blows at many individuals spiritual and physical lives.
I believe mankind has tried and failed to eliminate our issues and bring relief to our situation. But I know the only resolution to our problem here on earth is knowing the one and true living God and His son Jesus Christ! It is through getting to know the Holy Spirit and developing a relationship with Him that the hurricanes in our lives will begin to die down. We will experience the grace and mercy of God like never before.
This book acts as a practical spiritual guide. It contains simple tips that you can incorporate into your life. I hope these tips will bring reformation to your situation.
It is my sincere prayer that you accept Jesus Christ into your life and meet the Comforter, The Holy Spirit. God bless and enjoy!

Foreword
In life there are many difficult challenges, social problems and negative situations that people encounter on a daily basis. Some situations could be the death of a loved one, marital problems, sexual molestation, incest, physical abuse and children being neglected and abandoned by their parents.
The most difficult task such persons may have is trying to overcome these adverse situations. However, with the intervention of long term counseling, therapy learning, coping mechanisms and strategies; some persons are capable of leading positive and productive lives. On the other hand, other persons may become trapped and continue to carry the hurt, pain, trauma and guilt experienced throughout their life span.
As a Trained Social Worker practicing in The Bahamas and working with persons that have experienced all forms of abuse; it would be fair to state that when persons are faced with adverse situations and is trying to cope they should consider tapping into the spiritual aspect of their life. The spiritual side of an individual also contributes to the whole person and plays an important role in coping with difficulties faced in everyday life.
In her book, Divine Strategies for Overcoming Life’s Struggles, Mrs. Hepburn encourages persons who are struggling to admit they are in need of help and encourages them to face their problem head on. She also makes a connection between dealing with situations from a spiritual yet intellectual aspect. She examines the situation and implements many practical, proven strategies that anyone can try. This book is an easy read and very enjoyable. I look forward to putting some of these strategies to practice myself. I pray that you will enjoy this book as much as I did. Read and enjoy!
