About this ebook

Mrs. Joyce was born and raised in Newburgh New York and is still here. My life is full of different experiences and I don't hate men. They just gave me hell almost every man in my lifetime and because of that I'm strong and flexible. I've loved real deep and sometimes not at all. I've even hated but now I'm at a point of living and loving me and loving me and mines. I listen to my mellow music and write. I hold my head up no matter what. This is how I survive and glad to be alive.

    Greener Grass

    30384.png

Time is falling into the stream

I see people move far but can’t find relief

Thinking the grass is greener on the other side

only to realize it’s the same and

    grass don’t change people’s lives.

Especially when you take someone from

someone else now wishing you stayed

    by yourself.

Pride took a ride down a dead end road and

you told yourself he was like gold,

Now it’s like you sold your soul to the devil

and you’re starting to see how really evil he is.

Taking someone else’s problem made you look real big

only to find out the hole you digged you completely

fell in. How we don’t think our ships sink.

Time is falling into the stream

I see people move far but can’t find relief

Thinking the grass is greener on the other side

only to realize it’s the same and
